I train fasted every weekend minus my pre. Honestly I feel amazing after.

But I only train once on the weekends and it's first thing in the morning.

I tried it years ago, but it's just not for me. I would always get shaky and weak feeling. My body is just so used to being pumped full of food every few hours, so when I wake up, I'm starving. I usually do legs every Saturday morning, but I have to eat a big ass breakfast about an hour beforehand or I'd probably pass out.

Yup. I used to (before I really lifted) go in the mornings with nothing on my stomach or something light like a banana and everytime I would get the cold sweats and have to throw up. I always make sure to get up at least an hour before I go (if I am going in the a.m.) and eat as soon as I get up. Don't have any problems now except my morning dump sometimes interferes with my start time and I end up sitting on the can when my pre workout starts to tingle.

Haha I don't really go in the morning unless it's the weekend and I can go around 11am. I can't really eat or drink until I've been up for an hour...I an NOT a morning person at all. I usually wake up around 7am and breakfast and coffee starts at 8. Same with the morning poo. About 9am every morning like clockwork. I like going right after work because that's usually when I naturally get tired, so it kind of perks me up until bedtime. Days off suck for that reason b/c I drag ass around 5-6pm.

@zacharypaul89 , these shakes have changed my life. I would have never thought you could mix spinach in and not even taste it.

Today I did a super simple one with extra spinach to determine how well it works.

    Milk ~ 1 cup
Spinach ~ 3 giant handfuls (Like enough for decent sized salad)
    1 banana
1 heaping spoon of peanut butter

I mixed it up, couldnt taste the spinach but I wanted something a bit sweeter. Squeezed some honey in and mixed it up. Perfect.

Yeah, it's crazy! The only downside is it's thick as damn concrete lol. It takes me a good 30-45 mins to drink it

If its too thick I normally just put a 1/4 cup of water in it.

I thought about that, but mine is already 32 oz...I don't have a big enough container for anything larger than that!

Replace milk with water? Or just mix it with water, and then slam what doesn't fit in your container right away?

This is a mix of mma and self defense. They have stand up sparing mixing up American kick boxing and muy Thai as well as ground fighting, Bjj and other ground techniques but they also cover knife and gun defense. It's so much fun but it's not competitive and no one is looking to hurt anyone. There are some people that like to go harder than others and you can turn it up with them but for the most part it's technique training. I have gone for years then took a break then went back then took a break again. I haven't been in over five years. They have a belt system so I will have to start back at white belt till they feel I've earned my old color. I give it 6 months to a year before I can go back to my high red belt.

Guess I need to start eating before I go to the gym. I have been going between 4:00 and 4:30 am on an empty stomach and it's been killing me. Feel like puking or have puked everyone every time.

That's so early. I'm probably just hitting REM sleep around then lol. The only time I get up that early is if I need to catch a plane somewhere and then I'm like a zombie the whole time dragging through until I get where I'm going and can catch a nap on the plane. No way i could lift.

I like getting up early. It's not too bad. Just depends on when you go to bed I guess

Sooooo anyone wear vans? Are they made big? I just bought a pair and my dress shoes are size 16 these vans are 14 wtf ?

I've had my dress shoes since before I started losing. But you're not supposed to lose size in your feet and hands right ?

I just got a new pair, I love vans though. Worn them for years. I think @zacharypaul89 does too.

That sounds awesome! I wish we had something like that around here

x2. My sweet spot is between 7 & 8 am. I can wake up early to go fishing or hunting, but anything else, I'm a zombie.

Mine are true to size. I wear a 10 and I have 2 pairs of Vans that are 10's. New Balance and Nike, I get 10.5, but all my dress shoes and everything else are 10's.
