So it wasn't a coyote? I thought I saw somewhere where you said a coyote got ahold of him?

Either way, sucks man. Dixie died a few days after thanksgiving. I was a wreck for a while. :(

I hope to god the person at least was decent enough to stop

Different thing but there was a hit and run down the street from me yesterday. Heard the crash in my backyard cutting tree limbbs and figured I'd walk down (2 houses away). The little shit who probly caused it tore ass up my street pouring fluids out his front end. Bet he didn't bank on this fat ass getting his plate #

Depends. I had 2 for a while and when Precious (Maine coon) died I knew we'd get another at some point. Scratch, my other cat spoke up loudly about being an only cat and less than a week later we rescued Ozzy from a shelter

Dude Zach I'm so sorry to hear about your pup. It's been a tough weekend for me too. Today would have been my little brother's 21st birthday. He passed away in a motorcycle accident Dec 2014. He was my kid brother and one of my best friends.

It's life I guess. Still sucks. That's why I do drugs. But if I lost my pup I'd be inconsolable at this point.

None taken. For the record my cat was an outdoor at my parents' house but we lived on a dead end and the cat didn't bother anyone. My cats are all indoor due to predators, living near a main road, etc.

I've had many dogs in my life and love dogs but with 2 jobs, my parents' issues, and such I'm not home enough and it's not fair to the dog.

My friend has a beautiful pit she rescued and I love him.

Today was the first day I've ever gone in the gym and didn't talk to anyone. I kept my headphones on and didn't even look at anyone else. That was the first time I've been around folks since Ace died and I just didn't feel like talking to anyone. Had a good workout though.

    All 4 sets of 8-15:
    flat bench press
    incline dumbbell bench press
    decline dumbbell flys
    svend press

    All 3 sets of 8-15:
    weighted dips
    v-grip triceps pushdowns
    dumbbell overhead triceps extensions

I love that svend press. I've done it every week since I found it on that link you gave me. I started with just 2 10lb plates and then tried it with a 5 between and then 2 5s before I realized I could just do 3 10s. Working my way up to 2 quarters

Im still super hyped up about getting 185 on bench 3 times. So here's a little backstory...

I've always been that super skinny kid and never thought I'd want to workout. Well about junior year of high school I picked up the nickname "holocaust victim" 1) because I'm ghostly fuckin white 100% of the year, but more importantly 2) because I was so damn scrawny. So I tried to workout for a month or two, barely made it to 135 on bench. Wasn't getting any bigger so I just stopped. Accepted the name and rolled with it. Never really did anything about it and said fuck it, atleast I'm not fat. Well last year (freshman year of college) I roomed with a buddy of mine who was pretty big and worked out a lot. So I would go to the gym with him like once or twice a week, just because I was afraid of gaining the freshman fifteen and it all going to my gut. So this Christmas I finally decided I was going to get bigger and stronger. Did a lot of research, found out I needed to make sure I ate enough (which was my biggest problem) and worked out, as well as stayed rested, but not too rested. When I started back in January I was maxing like 165 on squats, 135 on bench and maybe 185/205 on deadlift. 4 months later and I'm probably 10-12 pounds heavier as well as pushing 185x3 bench, 225x2 squats and 305x1 DL. And still breaking a PR about every week. Granted, my progress has slowed a lot but I look forward to going to be gym everyday and pushing myself to my limits. Not to mention I feel a million times healthier that I ever have in my life.

Sorry for the long winded post, I'm just in a real good mood and figured I'd throw some backstory out there for you guys.

Almost didn't read this because it was so long lol. Sounds a lot like me. I took weight lifting classes in high school and I remember how pumped I was when I finally benched 135 because I got to use the big plates. Graduated college being able to do 155x10 on bench. Met a guy at my first job who was big in to lifting and he got me in to it too and I've never looked back. Best 5 years of my life. (My current bench max is 290 FYI to progress that story - I'm 5'9" 170#).

You should try, maybe next week, to max bench. I bet you will surprise yourself with what your 1 rep max is if you can get 185x3. You'd easily be pushing over 200, maybe even 2 plates if you snort enough of that Hyde. Kidding...

    ...or am I?
