    IM just a normal guy mate, I'm 6'0 235 right now but i can get them big numbers at 220 as thats my comp weight.I posted up my body scan profile in the thread a while back so you can see my body comp for shits and giggles.
    The gain in body weight was to try and see if i can reach 200# of LEAN BODY mass on their scanner and was around 17% bf at that 237

    Part of my bulking goal was to hit a 300# strict over head press. It was a worthy opponent. I struggled week after week to get it but simply couldn't pass 290 no matter what i did. Its about the only goal i have yet to make :(

    Last strongman I did was clean and press a 275# 12" log as many times as possible in 90 seconds. I got 5.. killed me. Log that big you couldn't rest it after the clean before the press. Just had to keep pushing it up

    Yeah a strict press in 100% raw and the log press is a lil different thats for sure. i never timed my log presses but the strict OHP is fk'n hard. Your not allowed Any leg/hip movement/ transfer of energy and the bar cannot pass the vertical hip plain, so you cannot lean back to change the angle and use more upper chest. The log press is nice because you can almost use a "jerk" technique by driving your legs and hips forward to create momentum to get the weight moving

    I pressed a #175 log once... lol yay me.

    Side note, first time doing stop and go DLs last week... 405 x 7. I had more, but my breathing was fucked up because I wasn't used to stop and go. My bud fell out at 5 too, so that didn't help. My back was pretty sore too from squatting tuesday. First week I have squatted heavy and DL heavy in many months with my back injury. I did have a video of it, but ya'll master lifters probably tear me apart :luvya:


    Ok got video to work, such TERRIBLE quality, stupid fucking iphones suck ass. GF recorded it and junk. Anyway, you get the idea. INB4 FORM SUCKS :luvya:

    Not bad @Supra TT ... Lower back is a little rounded but the weight stays right over mid foot and travels in a straight line. you're shooting your hips at the right time imo too. Fix that slight round and you're golden I'd say

    You want it took look like one fluid movement. It's the safest for the spine that way.

    Makes sense. I've never really pushed my hips, I always just go to normal standing position. Didn't know if there was a benefit to it, or if it was considered "proper form" as opposed to not pushing your hips.

    You don't want to over-arch. Don't get them wrong. I see a lot of people that end up with a huge arch In their back.

    By "shooting your hips", what you're basically wanting to do is squeeze your glutes. If you stand up right now and squeeze your glutes as hard as you can, your hips will move forward. A regular standing position, hips SLIGHTLY pushed forward is a good thing. Push forward too much and you'll kill your lower back.
