    I'm at 2245 cal right now... I'm afraid that I started a little low which led to some quick loss. But my weight has kind of leveled off around 198 @ 6'2". Certainly shrunk, but I am leaner than at 216 for sure. Might have to start incorporating some cardio to turn the corner and continue to lose. I have had a bad day or two diet wise for the past couple weeks too. BAD BOY

    I can't find any jeans that fit my waist and thighs so I've got some older jeans that are kinda tight on my legs but don't hold my waist at all, which equals blowouts

    My wife got me a new pair this weekend that is my usual size 30 waist. I tried them on and had to lay down on the bed while she pulled from the ankle to get them back off. She returned them. All kinds of gainz!

    SO............ I bought a bike. And not a motorcycle. Over the weekend one of my buddies talked me into going riding with him Sunday and he let me use his new raleigh carbon cyclacross. OMG I fell in love with it. Not to mention being outside and riding around the 20 miles that we did seemed to just pass right by. So I went the last two days looking at bikes and settled after riding a few on a trek 7.4 fx but when I went to LBS today to order one in shadow black A hell of a beauty was hanging up. A trek crossrip ltd silver. Needless to say the sales guy saw my kid like ooohhh and ahhhh but I resisted until he came off the price to where I was able to justify dropping another 150. So come friday I will have my first real road bike/ hybrid/ commuter.

    Hey this has probably been asked a lot, but what food scales do y'all use?

    I looked in the recommended products at the bottom but didn't see it. I think Zach posted link at one point..

    @zacharypaul89

    Nice man! I need to get out and bike more

    thanks man i'm stoked. I plan on commuting at least once a week to work. maybe my short day when I get off before the sun goes down.
    as far as food scales go. I picked one up from walmart.com and has been the best one I've ever used. Super easy and doesn't take up much space plus like 20.00 Stacey's mom bought one that was 90.00 and its already died 3 or 4 times.

    Pretty sure he wanted your opinion. I'm kinda curious as to what you think about that as well.

    I would agree with the video. Out of all the spinal surgeries I do, maybe 2% of them are thoracic, the rest are cervical (neck) or lumbar (low back). Most (not all) personal trainers at Joe's gym are gonna say it's incorrect due to ignorance and or the idea of safety. Are you at higher risk by allowing your upper back to flex? To a degree yes but you won't be able to move the same weight as you could with neutral spine. The idea of "straight back" has been drilled into the weight lifting world for dl's for a long time now, but the science behind it suggests neutral back which really means straight lower back with slight arch in the upper back is ideal. I'll toss my video in here again because I'd say I have a healthy amount of upper back arch in it with little to no arch in the lower back during the lift

    Well simply put upper back rounding isn't really an issue as long as it remains in position but lower and mid back is not
    I thought you be a DR but i see your an OR nurse. Either way, pretty cool. I wanted to be an interventional radiologist and continue research in biomedical research but my cards didnt play out so ......

    I could never be a Dr... I work to live, not live to work haha. I need to be able to take a month off here or there for hunting season or whatever else I'm into at the time.

    So are you a "contractor" in a sense that you just say 'meh, i dont feel like working the next 45 days'? Thats wild. I would think the medical field would want to hammer out some reliability.

    Yes. I thought you were referring to rounding of the upper back from the video. Video is terrible quality but after watching it I can see it now and there's some lower rounding too. I'll need to try and correct it.

    Nice lift dude!!

    I always find it funny when guys say this kind of stuff. I understand that your legs may be huge, but c'mon, if Branch Warren and Phil Heath can find jeans that fit, you all should be able to as well...You guys need to stop buying skinny jeans or 501s or whatever...

    Lol - they aren't skinny jeans. Most of my blow outs are in older pairs that are worn out. This new pair she just got me just wasn't made right but I'm still claiming they didn't fit due to gainz. Don't rain on my parade :crapstorm:
