Oh trust me I know that for sure. A good buddy of mine had it done and he dropped to 220. He's pushing 270 now he didn't train his mind to be disciplined the way you have to when you self rely on losing the weight and not just being able to eat as much anymore.

Same here. I squat in vans so I'm flat with little to no cushion under me. Every so often I'll squat on plates, but rarely.

Came down to the beach for the weekend. My mother in law, who loves me more than my own mother, bought me a membership to the local gym down here because she knows how I get withdrawals when I can't lift on vacation. First day using it. Didn't bring any pre workout with me so I was already skeptical of it. Walked in not sure if I wanted to do upper day or legs (yesterday was supposed to be upper but I ended up not going even though I said I was trying:anonymous:). Walked in and saw they had 100# DBs and knew I had to do upper day (my gym at home only goes to 75s). I dusted those rusted bells off and quickly established myself as the alpha here:muscleflexing:

Oh yeah, tried out a new pair of kicks too. Not bad, I'll do legs tomorrow and see how they hold up.

But do you actually move 90,000 on bench before switching to accessory? That's like benching 400x225. Power to you if you do. I don't know anyone that could

So let's talk pre/post workout meals/snack and timing. What are you all doing? I did an experiment last night and I was very well surprised with the results and I always know you're supposed to feed your muscles before you use them but you know the whole weight loss thing etc. now that I'm working on a physic rather than a number I am more into the lifting vs running etc.

Last night for example 2 cups of brown rice pre workout an hour before and then my normal dinner after workout about an hour after at least 45 min

My results was, I did a really heavy arm set (for me) and had a ton of energy that lasted well after.

I wake up at 7 and eat within 10-15min. Workout within the hour then have a protein shake. (9:30ish). Usually eat again around 11:30-12ish then again around 4. Dinner around 7ish. Then usually another shake before bed around 11pm.

    Rinse Repeat

I understand having enough energy during your workout is tough during a cut. What I like to do is I eat the majority of my carbs before and after my workouts. I also like to eat an hour or 2 before I go. Then I'll eat my protons and fats whenever.

I think he was saying he did 90,000 pounds a week...which is still a fuck ton. It has made me rethink my lifting. I only bench twice a week, and I am only doing about 12k a week. (for example 225 5x5 twice a week). Maybe I need to crank this up?!

If I eat a big meal less than 2-3 hours before I work out, I will yak. But, I am starving almost immediately after I work out. I always follow up with a protein shake or a full meal within an hour after my work outs.

Its in a week. I bench, squat and hit dl/ back 3 x in 8 days.
I do about 31,500 Per chest not counting any accessory. Some days i do more. Frankly, i don't focus much on accessories. It all depends what my priority is as i switch it/ rotate it between squat, dl/back

if i keep all things equal, i.e not focused on one or another I'm currently at 85500# per primary work out in 50 min.

I have posted my work out cycle and routine countless times so for all those that think its not possible stop hating. Its really not that hard to do, it requires ridiculous dedication and not being afraid.
    DL : 315x 10 x 10 - this is a cake walk
back SQ : squat 250 x 10 x 10- Most challenging for me because of my injury
    flat Bench : 290 x 10 x 10 last 2 sets are tough
    = 85500

Pull ups / pull downs / dumbell rows : varies in total #
    Front squat : 225x 10 x 10
    incline : 250 x 10 x 10

Honestly, i laugh at people with their oh i did 3 sets, its time to move theory. Gosh, thats warm up, not even into the working sets yet rofl

I try and eat an hour or two before working out, then after it's a protein shake with creatine and usually a big ass meal. Last night did back n bi's and then had meatloaf with mash taters steamed veggies and pork chops with stuffing. So fucking killer.

This and weekly makes alot more sense. I'm not trying to call you out or anything, I just read (mistakenly) 90,000 per bench workout instead of per week. My bad
If we're going on a weekly basis and including all the workouts of the week, I'm moving between 140,000 - 163,000#s a week. I could never be done in 3 sets either haha
