I like mine alright. My friend has one and you almost have to get something to pry his open because it seals so good. Mine is nothing like that, which kinda sucks. Mine still holds ice for a while, but nothing compared to his. My wife and I got her dad the big bag Yeti for Christmas and we use it a lot. That thing holds ice like no cooler I've ever seen.

I tell people it's a love hate relationship. I'd never spend full price on one and I probably won't ever buy another one (had to be replaced twice now). But I have every color of the sport band they offer lol. Battery life definitely sucks.

Switched it up a little today from the 4x4 I was doing. Went with 7 sets of 3 increasing weight each set until I failed. Started at 225 and made it through 6 sets without failing but then failed on my 7th set at 265. I only got 1 rep then just rested the bar on my chest until my spotter realized it wasn't coming back up. I think I added weight too slowly and tired myself out. My max was 290 last I checked so getting 260x3 is good since that is 90% of my max. 300 is within sight :benchpress:

edit: that was referring to bench press if it was unclear...

I'll kick off the selfie this week. Anyone opposed to triceps? Too bad!

@dwalden2 I did weighted dips today. Started with one 45plate and did 8, went up to a 45+25 and only got 6. Felt like all my bones were going to snap
You did 3 plates?!? :bowdown:I wouldn't be able to stand with that swinging between my legs :bananadead:

My cousin and I got into the same competition a while back. We were using a 100 lb plate and I got 4-5 I think. Definitely not fun on the elbow joints, but like Derick said, when a mother fucker checks you, you gotta risk life and limb to not look like the weaker man.

If I could have 1 single weight that is heavier like that, it might be easier. Stacking plates is awkward. I'm not used to having something that wide between my legs :pout:

Reasonable enough. If I was in the market I'd jump on it, but I had to buy a new one..got the Charge HR.

The charge cord is only $10 or so at Best Buy so that shouldn't be a huge impediment for someone buying it

haha agreed. I don't do dips a lot, but when I do, I generally do 1 45-lb weight and that's it b/c stacking weights between my ballsack kinda scares me. Y'all don't have 100 lb plates? We only have 2, but they come in handy for things like leg press and shrugs.

45 is the heaviest and the only have 6 of them, so if I ever do anything over 300# and someone else is in the gym it gets awkward because I'm basically using all of the weight.

Wow that's crazy. If I had to guess, I'd say our gym has at least 40 45's. U @ Planet Fitness, brah?

I feel the stress more on my shoulders rather than my elbows when I do weighted dips. I could probably get 2 plates 6-8 reps.

Probably slightly worse :anonymous:. I go to the gym at my country club. It's small but usually not crowded so it isn't a problem. My life goal is to open my own gym, I'm in the very very very early stages but one day I will have my own Iron Paradise.

I think he means he wants to open a gym to the public...I think. I've never had the desire to have a home gym. I like actually going to the gym too much. I know if I had weights at home, they'd just collect dust.
