I meal prep every week on my "Sunday". I work rotating shifts so it changes. It's honestly less about hitting my macros and more about saving money for me. I get way more nutritious food and spend no additional money. Like Zach I weigh my food and everything as well.

I do mine daily. I will cook chicken and turkey burgers in bulk, but I usually just do it each morning before school/work. Mine is more portion control. If I didn't weigh, I'd eat too much or too little.

If I didn't prep at all, I'd eat Burger King 3 times a day.

Jeez. I don't eat that "healthy" of stuff. I'm all about dat IIFYM life.

lol thanks man.. when I started steadily prepping about 1.75 years ago, that's when I started seeing a steady incline of results.. I mean.. I went from being "in-shape" to having a 6 pack.. and while that doesn't seem lavish to some, coming from a 400lb gorilla like I used to be, having a 6pack is something I never even dreamed of being attainable.

haha, I used to sell some meals to friends for a little bit, but it became a lot of work.. I started to lose focus of my own..

btw, I was charging $7.50 a meal; if that helps (with containers)

Actually icon meals is around 7 bucks a meal too but the shipping is what's expensive. There's a local guy here that does it I'm thinking about trying it.

Awesome! you'll love it - no need to be nervous! It is a very supporting environment! I recommend doing a metric shit ton of burpees lol, work upper body (there is a lot of "pulling obstacles"), work on lifting/carrying heavy objects as well as grip strength. you can get some great tools to train at lowes/home depot - (can make the spear, get rope to practice on, get a bucket to fill with rocks and carry) The race can seem really intimidating the first time, hell even sometimes after that because its never the same! But like I said you'll do great I'm sure!

I am not a...felal. lol but I prep my food every week - usually on sunday/Monday :D

The bodybuilding.com ones are $8.32/meal with free shipping. I think it's 12 meals for $99.

    Y u so lazy? I probably spend 15 mins per day prepping and 6 meals a day for 7 days is only around $70. That's 42 meals @ $1.67/meal.

Dude you need to do some posts to the recopies thread over in the food section.

I had foot surgery in October and then rotator cuff surgery 3 weeks ago. I have not lifted a weight since August of last year due to both injuries. I CANNOT wait to get back to it. I have lost probably 80% of the mass I gained the year before (I just started lifting regularly). I've gained about 15lbs, and I have no motivation to eat right.

I hope to join you guys soon! It's killing me! Cardio sucks, I can't do it anymore! :goingcrazy:
