ok so this was 3 weeks ago
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZgkrUHh1E0

    this was tonight
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6AALnSnytE

not sure if the change in stance is noticeable but it's a little wider.
i noticed that on the 2nd video my ankles aren't caving in as much and i'm able to focus on driving with my heels more. also my feet are pointed outwards a little more. i can't wait til i'm on a surplus so i can start making some serious gains on my squats.
    p.s. you myron glutes?

Looks good. You def look more comfortable. In the first video it almost looks like you're doing ski squats.

Weren't the wide-stance squats so much easier? I think they are. Also more comfortable.

So surgery got pushed back to Thursday but gives me 4 full days before I have to go back to work. 6 weeks in the immobilizer then 10 weeks pt. 16 weeks total until able to lift at full capacity but it will be worth it. He cleared me for light cardio (walking, elliptical, bike) after I can leave the house under no major pain. So basically a few days. On the elliptical I can't use the arm bars but that's fine I rarely do anyways. I can do biceps (right arm) and legs all I want. Just no pushing or pulling on the left arm. Once I'm out of the immobilizer then I can start doing light lifting up to 20-30 lbs for the first two weeks then we will look at increasing.

My advice, albeit unsolicited, as someone who has gone through a similar injury, is take your time in recovery and listen to your body. Even if the 16 weeks is up, and according to doctor's orders you should be good to go, if your shoulder feel sticky or sore (in a bad way), don't push it. I tried to rush my recovery and ended up making it a whole lot worse. I had to (and still have to) remind myself that we are training for a lifetime of health, strength and fitness, and that patience is key in that respect.

So, yesterday, I ran a mile around town before I trained. Hit chest and tris for about 45 minutes, then got on the treadmill to do some intervals. 12 rounds of 30 sec sprint, 1 min rest. 9 mph at a 4 incline. About my 3rd round, I got a pain on the outside back of my knee. Wasn't unbearable, but it hurt. I finished my cardio and could feel it, but it wasn't awful. Woke up this morning, stepped out of bed and felt it again. Then it disappeared. I was just unloading some appliances at work and had to roll them down the hill to the basement. I almost fell when I put pressure on my leg going down the hill because of the pain. Walking on flat surfaces is fine, but going downhill it's terrible. Anyone ever had anything like that? It hurt for about 30 minutes, then I went to eat lunch and put my legs up in a chair. When I was done with lunch, it felt fine again.

I was supposed to do some deadlifts tonight, but I don't know if that'll happen.

TL;DR: random knee pain that comes And goes on outside back of knee. What is it?

Is it swollen at all? If not then you have no ligament damage. I've never had a back of the knee injury before.
