:muscleflexing:I went back to my old workout and did chest/tri on half a scoop of Hyde. Focused on incline for bench. Did incline bench, reverse grip incline bench, and incline DB close grip bench. I would've done some legs first but my knee ended up swelling up from the skim board wipe out over the weekend so I figure I'll give it a couple days before I start putting heavy weight on it again.
The good news is we won that softball championship yesterday :humble:

Only did bicep curls, cable flies, and db bench before hitting cardio and whinning the whole time about how much I hated it. One of the trainers gave me a set of resitence bands to keep at home to do my pt with once I get back in the game. This really sucks.

@ThunderCookies i know you like body tech protein. Since I'm lowering everything while I am on the mend I made some protein pudding pops last night with it. Basically 225g of vanilla non fat Greek yogurt and 30g of your choice of protein. Mix it up pour into those little ice cream things and freeze. Delicious. And taste really close to actually ice cream

Genius. I made muffins one time and added protein powder to the batter. It took me a few batches before I got them to not be very dry but they were pretty good. I called them BUFFins

So last night one of our dogs had a damn heat stroke. Amy and I were laying in bed and the dogs were running around playing inside after coming in from outside (it's about 100 degrees in GA right now). All of a sudden, our cocker spaniel started arching his back and cramping up. It looked like he was drunk because all his muscles were so tense he was walking all crazy. We put him in the tub and ran cold water on him for like 30 mins and he came back to normal. Freaked us the fuck out.

In hindsight, Sunday we were outside all day and he kinda just laid around while our yorkie and brittany spainel played all day. I guess he got overheated then, too. We just adopted him like a month ago and he's 7, so I guess he can't take the heat like the other ones. Also, he was part of a puppy mill, so he's been in a cage his whole life, so he's probably not in the best shape.

TL;DR: I know a lot of you run with your dogs. Don't let them bastards overheat

I'd bet he gets better the longer he is with you. Sounds like it is his first summer with ya'll so chalk it up to being a newb. Glad he is OK though. My dog has crazy hair and I always worry about him strokin' out when we play outside and he loves to play. Luckily he has always been pretty good at self-regulating when he gets hot. If you run with him usually around the first mile he will start pulling to any tree he sees to lay down in the shade. When we play in the yard with his ball he will go lay in the shade of the house when he is done with us. I want to give him a hair cut but my wife thinks his hair is what makes him him.

Yeah our Brittany Spaniel can literally stay outside all day with no problems. The cocker is gonna take some conditioning; his hair is also thick as hell, too.

I have a samoyed mix so he has lots of thick hair. He's always hot and everytime I take him for rides he looks like he's ready to pass out.

Yeah we started out with a yorkie we got in 2012 that we paid $600 for and he just got hit by a car in Apr. The Brittany is also one we paid out the ass for...he's a hunting dog though. The other yorkie and the cocker we just got are both rescues. We'll probably keep doing that.
