    So damn hard to find a GOOD workout partner....:annoyed:
    :benchpress::militarypress::curls::muscleflexing:

    had this girl I bartend with ask to go to the gym with me...since she knows I am always working out lol
    First thought - awesome! (haven't had a good gym partner since I was in the Marines - always hopeful I can find one to workout with until I meet my swolemate LOL)

    So I take her to the gym a few times and I've learned this:

    -shes doesn't know much, so it kills the energy and is way slower having to explain everything, wait, etc... I am so used to being alone and working out at a good pace.
    -she talks soooo much....lifting with my perfect partner would involve very little talking, I like to listen to my music:rockband:
    -She isn't a fan of my type of lifting and cardio...would rather do small lifts (not squats,deads,bench etc) and steady state cardio forever....
    -she HATES squats :eek: but says maybe she'd do them body weight style....then....(see next bullet point)
    - sends me a picture of a 30 day squat challenge with silly body weight variations and says "I should do this!" :facepalm:NO, NO you should not!!
    - says she wants to lose fat quick - so I tell her...lift alot and do HIIT.....but she says naahhh she can do it just running normal (doesn't listen)

    Thoughts now - ugh, no thanks.
    oh well - maybe someday....I did see a lady at the gym that looked like Starla....maybe I should lift with her HAHAHa

    You described the female version of my neighbor. He quit going to the gym recently because he is 'too busy' but that was my life for a while when he would go with me...

    I don't like having gym partners. My perfect gym partner would be a hot naked sloot shaking her booty, giving me a lap dance while I workout just to get my t-levels up.

    I don't think that would work. Didn't you see that guy blow his Olympic chances the other day?

    I find it really hard to find someone who is willing to have an open mind and take advice from others. I have a couple of friends who "lift," and talk about how they wish they could get as big as me or they wish they could lift as much, so I tell them it is possible and that they should come lift with me. I say, hey, we could both learn a few things from each other. But the minute I start to give them advice (which they have asked for), they get all pissy. My thoughts are that if you don't want to hear what someone has to say, or you're not going to take it to heart, don't fucking ask for it in the first place. It's hard to find someone who is willing to put the time and work in. Ain't no shortcuts to this shit! Sorry for going off on a tangent/for the rant, but I feel your pain.

    I know we discussed this before but my last set of apple headphones have started dieing. And my hookup cut me off lol. Actually he's not working there anymore to get free stashes. What are you all using. I don't care for wireless because I don't want to have to worry about recharging. I just want good bass and something that's not gonna break in a week
