    You are my size and we eat the same amount. I always take my shake right after I workout too. It makes me feel better.

    I take shakes or eat right after I workout....and I have carbs before and during the workout. My pre, post and intra workout carb intake is around 100-150 carbs.

    I go to the gym every day and eat eggs vegetables and meat. no shakes or powders. also eat less. Got results fast in 30 days!

    Technically you have a 24hr window pos workout. Shakes are good, but whole foods are always better as they normally have a higher profile of BCAA's.

    Weights everyday? If so, why? I eat 6x a day and still drop bodyfat. As long as u don't exceed your daily goal intake you'll lose the weight

    sounds like I need to step up my carb intake for sure. today was leg day, tomorrow is supposed to be a rest day, but if the legs are up to it I'll be doing some cardio. hockey season is only a month and a half away, I would like to gain some upper body size before then, and get the cardio up.

    Id ur trying to gain size, especially legs I'd recommend not doing cardio post legs...if ur having a cheat meal still do it the night b4...just my .02

    How often per week do you guys take a day off from the gym?

    I've heard 6 on 1 off, 3 on 1 off, 1 on 1 off, just listen to you body? Not really sure what to follow.

    It really depends on you. Personally I lift five days a week.
    Sunday and Monday on
    Tuesday off
    Wednesday- Friday on
    Saturday off

    I've gone 3 days on so far, and today was supposed to be a pure cardio day, but I feel pretty taxed.

    That could be due to your diet too. Gotta make sure your hitting the right food groups often enough.

    haha sure is, last week I tried to run after leg day, and my calves gave up on me, I got 2 minutes of cardio in haha

    I work in a gym, so I just lift every day I work. I usually manage to get one or two days off a week so those are my off days. I figure if I'm in the gym I might as well lift!

    ok trying to load up on carbs this morning before the gym...

    a granola bar - 23g carbs
    bowl of yogurt - 14g carbs
    bagel - 39g carbs and MAN I am full, gym in about 50 minutes. I'll get another 6 grams in my preworkout drink too

    nope, i'd imagine it's a ton of carbs? much easier to get down before the gym too in a drink

    Yeah I've started drinking one about 30 mons before I work out. That on top of a pre work out I've never felt better working out!
