Serious mass 20% discount for the 6 and 12 lb options today. I ordered some yesterday with my other stuff.

Got on the live chat on BB.com and told them I just ordered yesterday and he's crediting my card back for the 20% discount. Another reason I always use them to order from

10% off the whole Jym line today. Which was also on my order yesterday. Let's see if they'll credit me back for that too. Shit.

Today was my company's annual softball tourney. A day I look forward to all year so I can strut my athletic prowess on all my unsuspecting co-workers who don't see me often since I work from home on the reg...

This is the 3rd year and each year my team has gotten a little better. It is hard to really get too competitive since majority of the people out there only signed up so they could get a day out of the office but I still get really in to it. Year 1 we lost 2 straight to get eliminated (double elim tourney). Year 2 we won the first game (knocked off the defending champs obv) then lost twice to get the boot. This year I had set the bar very low. Somehow we pulled out a W (over the defending champs again) but then we lost our next game. Won our first loser bracket game but buckled in the quarter finals (my team hit the lunch table hard and we paid the price while they all had burgers, hot dogs, and macaroni sitting on their stomachs :bananadead:).

I carried my team obv. 4 HRs and went straight human vacuum at SS.

Just realized I can't do squats ..... :-/ I can't get my left arm to bend back to grab the bar without turning my body. Definitely not a good thing. I've been doing smith squats this entire time with the one arm because the bar was balanced and well fuck.

A worker at my gym asked me if I wanted to become a trainer. I said maybe but I don't think I could do it. I suck at motivating people.

I'm just a terrible teacher. I can do things...but I can't tell anyone else how to do it. And if they can't do it I end up getting pissed because it's simple (to me).

I have one and not a huge fan of it...i like a normal bar better. its nice for people with shoulder injuries who lack the external rotation to hold a bar in the back rack tho.

i love smellys channel watched that the other day, fucking guy was pulling a 1:03 500m split on the concept 2!

Set your own hours, live in the gym, not a bad gig. You could always get cert'd, do it part time, and see if you like it.

Got an email this morning that our boss is getting pizza delivered for everyone for lunch today. I brought my own ranch dressing and green olives from home :anonymous:

Also, the wife and I are reeeeeally going running tonight. I really do want to start doing cardio, but when it comes time to actually do it after work, I back out. To solve the problem, I told the wife to cut me off until I actually do cardio with her, so now I have a little extra motivation.

Have you tried doing them with your arms out with your hands resting on top of the weights? Kinda like you're making a 'T' with your body if that makes any sense...Or zercher squats. Or bb hack squats. Or hex bar deadlifts....there are tons of variations.

lol I love Brian Shaw. He seems like the kind of guy that doesn't take shit too seriously, but who could also throw your truck off a bridge if you piss him off. Also, I don't disagree with anything he said from 3:40-4:00 lol.

Have not tried any of those except making the T and that is a no go as well. My current gym doesn't have anything but a regular squat rack and bar. So investigating the other types. But the gym I'm joining after the wedding(wedding present) oh buddy, Oh buddy is it gonna have everything.

Also I was complaining about my arms not growing and that ensued a 1hour long ass chewing about how I'm not eating enough and that I need to be eating a minimum of 3500-4000 to grow in the least bit. I have my doubts. So one of you seasoned guys point me in the right direction.

I gain about a pound a week at around 3700 calories. I could bulk slower at around 3500 calories probably, but I just love getting stronger on my bulks. currently at 206 lbs and ~15%+ bf though lol.

Im what 4-5" taller than you and about 22lbs heavier. I don't want to get fat againbut I'd ideally want to tone the hell up and put on decent size. Obviously I know I have to eat and with eating comes more fat gain. I just did a sample in mfp to see what 3500 would look like for me and I'm sitting here like. Fuck I'm not even hungry right now where the hell am I gonna put an extra 700-1000 calories of clean food
