:anonymous::anonymous::anonymous:I'm with Zach re:nutrition this weeekend. Interestingly enough, my wife and I went over to another couple's house for dinner last night. They are vegetarians. All of the food was actually pretty good, but I still went to Five Guys on the way home...

I am also giving up on any hope of "eating clean" for the rest of 2016, and just going full fledged bulk. I am not gonna eat junk but I am gonna crank my carb and caloric intake up for awhile and just see how it goes. I have been really frustrated with my lifts recently and I know the lack of consistency in my diet is what's killing me. Thinking of a 250c/200p/100f split.

Also does anyone know if Vitamin Shoppe will let me swap out product (not like a receipt exchange. It's been a while since I made the purchase and I don't have the receipt)? I bought 2 containers of their house PWO and it's so bad. I'm trying to power through one of them but no way I can muster down the other. Hoping I can go take them the unopened container and swap it for something I know I like...

Usually if you go in and aren't an asshole, they'll let you swap it if it's not expired or opened.

That's only 2300? How are you considering that a bulk? If I'm not mistaken aren't you and I same stats pretty much? I finally found maintenance I believe at around 3100-3200. I stayed the same Friday before last I was 236.4 This past Friday 235.8 so I'm counting it as the same. And I cranked out 31-32 almost everyday

I am so scared of carbs...

I believe it is 2700, but either way, you're right, that's still pretty low (at least by this thread's standards). The first 2 years I got back into lifting I was eating 2100-2200 calories a day, still making muscle gainz but also losing fat. Maybe I have been doing it wrong though, I dunno at this point. I think I will start at this (2700) and then see where I go from there.

I took back a opened thing of xtend and they let me swap it out. I told them it tasted like crap and no matter how much water I added it was just too sweet. I had taken about 5 scoops out. They let me swap it for amino x

You're right I dunno what I added up. But either way. Get over the fear of carbs because it's going to happen. That's what I had to tell myself. Give your body three full weeks to adjust to the new carb levels and then adjust from there. I'm @340p/300c/75 fat. just time out your carbs.

    A little shy of that. I'm at about 260 g. I aim for 1.2 g/lb

I've been eating around 415c 130p 70f for a couple of weeks. I stopped taking whey protein over all. Still taking creatine but I might stop after this tub is gone. Going full natty mode.

I've got about 1/4 container of creatine left and then I'm done with it. I think most of the PWO I take have 1-2g though so that will be my only creatine intake...

I'm about to make some serious changes to my diet too, probably start meal prepping and trying to do this thang right...

Yup with wedding season coming to a close, I'm green lit to get back on track. Meal prepping and not drinking on the weekends. Got a month and a half till police academy starts up so I have to implement some more cardio and body weight exercises. Bye bye gainz

I've actually been good on drinking lately. I can count on 1 hand the times I've had a drink in any capacity since August-ish...

I went out on Thursday for a buddy's 30th and I got roped in to doing a shot of fireball but that was the only alcohol I had and the only one I have had in almost 2 weeks. But, winter is a more alcohol-heavy time for me. Especially once Eggnog hits the shelves :anonymous:

I had to stop taking creatine. It was giving me a weird rash. I was really looking forward to seeing what it would do, too.
