Considering macros are calories you already are.
Beans, sweet potatoes, pasta, vegetables, fruits.

I would do both just to be safe. In theory, if your macros are spot on, it should equal the right amount of calories. I just enter everything into MFP and it does it all for you...micros, too.

Pasta. I think it's Barilla who makes the new high protein pasta. Tastes like normal pasta, but has 17g protein per serving. When bulking, I eat super dirty to get the carbs I need without my stomach exploding from eating 40 lbs of brown rice per day...like Paulo said, pop tarts, donuts, canides, etc....he's probably joking, but as long as you're not diabetic, it doesn't matter. The glycemic index is a lie created by Hillary Clinton and the Illuminati.

Can't remember if I said it earlier or not, but I'm leaving for Savannah in a few hrs to watch the wife run in a half marathon. Gonna go do legs tonight. I've never worked out in a foreign gym before, besides hotel gyms on vacation, so this should be exciting. I've got to be sure to wear a cut-off to establish my position as the dominate male.

I'm trying to do this clean and I also want to limit my sugar. When I eat too much I break out and recently (trying to eat the junk food in my house) I have broken out more than usual. I've about got my plan figured out now. Just need a few more carbs and to trim a little on the protein and I'll be ready. I'll post my plan in a few...

That app was stressing me out. I type in 'chicken' and get 100 different options all of which have different macros. Then something like an egg or potato where they decide a serving size is '1'...last I checked those foods are like snowflakes. I've never seen 2 of the same...

Look for verified items and weigh stuff man. It's really not that hard. 8oz of raw chicken is 220 cal 5oz of potato is 121 or something close. When I get home and have access to my computer tonight I'm gonna put your entire day of food in mine and send you screen shots

Cool, so not too far off from my numbers. I used MFP, I was just tracking each part in the excel. I work with excel all day for my actual job so it's just a habit. The other tab on that sheet is the home brew preworkout ingredients :goingcrazy:

Doing that nightly is overly bad for yoursystem bud. It will make your digestive track depend on it after prolonged use

True! But the results will keep your body happy you did from my experience. I haven't taken it for a time now but every morning I question why I don't. With a high fiber diet I still can't get the results I do when using it, bud.
