Got a friend that goes to a gym down in Cartersville. She said they're having a weight lifting meet in like January to support veterans. She told me I should go to it....can't decide if I want to or not.

Nah, gotta pay to enter. Don't know how much it is.

If my squat number was higher, I might go. But...it's not. I don't want To go and be embarrassed. Lol.

On another note, one of my buddies at the gym went to a meet in like...Iowa or some shit last weekend. Ended up winning his weight class (265 maybe?). 777 squat, 446 bench, 760 DL. Failed at 782 dead (trying for a 2000 total). Said he got it to his knees and couldn't lock out.

Since he won, he got invited to the Arnold Classic in Ohio. He's the one that has given me DL pointers in the past and said he'd have me pulling 450 in 6-8 months.

He said there was a guy there in his weight class that has pulled 900 before, but he's been dealing with 2 injured hamstrings so his squat and DL numbers weren't where they normally are.

Lol. It's for my grandpa. He was in the navy (Korean War) and also a commercial fisherman most of his life. He had a lucky tattoo as well. And his favorite color was blue. Lower right are his initials. So yes - it is a perfect one for that.

I started home brewing PWO about 3 months ago and am still pretty new to it. I usually just mix up what I need on a daily basis. But each ingredient should have a serving size in mg/g or tsp/tbsp or something. You could just do 30 servings of each ingredient mixed together and then save your scoop from Mr.Hyde and see if it works? The uncertainty of the scoop size per day is why I didn't go a bulk mixing route like that. I didn't know how big was too big haha.

I made a batch of 32 servings (that was what 1 cup of the largest ingredient made and was my easiest rounding point) today. My scoop per serving needs to be 3/4 tablespoon which is slightly more than the Hyde scoop so I just do a "rounded scoop"...

The issue I am now having is that everything mixed well except the Beta Alanine. I went to take a scoop and I hit a chunk and dug in to find a few lumpy crystals of BA. I had to smash them with my fingers and reshake it and stir it some with a fork. Not sure if they will clump back up or not but I'll see next time I use it. I need to get some of those silica packets that absorb moisture to put in the container

I have the same problem with mine in the short time that I have it mixed.

Bulksupps offered me a free sample of any product if I reviewed one that I just bought. They send "the smallest available quantity". That is still 100 beta alanine pills. That's like an extra month worth of servings :yay:
