Very cool. I don't use a gym bag because I get the luxury of going home after work and changing, so I just walk in with nothing but my phone, headphones, and water and go to town.

However, for overnight trips, I use this Diadora gym bag I've had since like 8th grade:

It has that outside mesh soccer ball holder on the left side, but I use if for shoes and it also has a zip-up shoe compartment in one of the outside compartments so your shoes don't touch/stink up the rest of your shit. I love that bag.

I wish a more traditional bag would work for me. Carrying it around campus and stashing it during classes would suck. Looking for a way to allow this bag I am making be able to attach to my standard backpack so I can free up my hands.

Yeah, that bag I use is more like a travel bag. It has straps on the bottom to wear it like a backpack, but it's enormous. I can go on 2 week trips with that thing. Not something you'd wanna haul around daily.

The start of the first prototype. Ordered buckles and they will be here Friday. Just messing with the design and figuring out how to fit everything in the smallest space possible.

335 for 1 rep on bench today.....and not a half rep like the big pussies in my gym. Touching the pecs! That's the most I've done since 2003.....I hit 365 and tore a rotator cuff. Not bad for a guy pushing 46 years old. :bananadance:

I'm doing a push/pull/legs rest and I did back and bis last night. Legs today. I wanted to do deadlifts but my trap are sore, should I go ahead and still pump it out? Maybe go light and work on form instead of weight. ??? What thinks you guise

Always work on form, but if your shoulder is hurting I wouldn't try pulling weight off the ground. I'm on a rest week and don't mess with injury though. Some of the guys in here have a work through the pain mindset but I don't quite have that :notsure:

Shoulder is fine. Traps are just sore from yesterday. Last time I did deads my traps were sore. I'm working more on developing my back more (lats, rhomboids) and legs. I'm trying to be proportional. Saw this kid at the gym and he's shredded, but maan those legs and calves are skinny. Haha

Planned to go to the gym last night. Went home and went to bed at like 9pm instead. It was nice.

I've averaged 9hours of sleep since Sunday. It's been great, but it's going to be tough come Monday when I go back to 6-7 hours...

These are the ones I use. I love them. Use them everyday. Got mine price matched at best buy for 73.99. Even got my wife some too. The only drawback is that they are not noise cancelling, but there are earbuds you can buy and slip over.

Had 2 great "fitness-related" encounters at work today:

    1. Lady in our office came up and asked, "you're into working out, right?" I said, "Yeah..." and she proceeded to tell me about this couple my age and how she wants to get a gift for them, but the only thing they're in to is CrossFit. I tried not to smile the asshole's smile and told her just to get them a bb.com giftcard. I tried to think of something they would hate, but I couldn't think of anything...like a 'Arnold is Numero Uno' shirt or something...the best part is that she said is that they are literally into nothing but Crossfit....so typical lol.

    2. The puny kid at work I've told y'all about before that thinks he's 6'4", 240 and 4% bf and I had a convo again (he's really about 5'10", 130, and skinny-fat). His arms are the same size as my wife's...and my wife is a pencil. Any time I talk to this shit head, he always tries to tell me how ripped he's getting doing P90X, beachbody, or whatever the latest craze is and how he's basically like 2 notches below the Hulk in the gym. He told me today in that he needed me to come to his house and help him unload a swingset he bought for his kid for Christmas. The best line is: "I tried to get my little brother to come help, but it's gonna take some big guys like you and me..."

I didn't know what to say or do, so:

So, go over, grab the swing set by yourself, unload it, then tell him he could have done it if he wasn't a pussy.
