    I came really close to skipping the gym today. Had a family lunch that threw my schedule off. Glad I didn't miss. Had a pretty strong back/shoulder/bi day and also fed a youngster some wisdom and helped him refine his squat. I usually don't talk to people but since he was younger I wanted to make sure he wasn't wasting his time.

    Tomorrow I've got squats and I can't wait. I used to hate leg days so much but now it's all I want to do :crazy:

    Ended up grabbing some skullcandy uproars. Not bad. Not as much bass as I hoped for but I like the kind that you can't hear anything after you take them off. They fit good though. Nice and snug I didn't feel them slipping during any lifts. Got 275 for one on bench with a liftoff. That's my issue is getting it off the rack now. No strength to push but once it's up I brought it down for a 3 second pause rep and back up. Felt very very very tight though. Almost sloppy. The guy spotting me said my ass stayed planted but I arched like crazy pushing it back up

    I don't understand these bros that brag about benching 400+ lbs when they have shitty form like that and are only bringing the bar down 3". I know the powerlifters have their own rules, but that's not a true test of chest strength. I just don't get it...it's all ego. They're the bench press form of the quarter squatter.

    Agreed. I really started refining my squatting form over the past 6-7 months and my max amount of reps I could do went down, but my form is better, so I'm getting more out of the squat other than an ego boost.

    A true test of chest strength IMO is the NFL Combine. Those dudes who can rep 225 20 and 30+ times are real life goals. I'm currently at 11, which is slightly better than most NFL punters :pout:
