    Barbell Hack squats....OMG

never did them before but about killed myself.

Have to add good mornings for the flutes and hams. Did a light leg workout to get a feel for the place. Excited to be able to do legs with the right equipment.

Neighbor brought over some ham and bean soup with some cornbread and it was the bomb. Very much comfort food and was super hungry getting out of the gym. Great way to end the night.

Today will be some pulling. Back and bis.

He made it look easy, is the thing. Never a hesitation or even made it look like much of a struggle.

Benched 135 without any pain in the shoulder :woot: still giving it 2 more weeks. That'll be a 6 week recovery.

    Hit dumbbells heavy though.
    10 @ 80
    10x2 at 90
    5 at 110

    Then dumbbell incline
    10x2 at 80
    10 at 90

Felt good to push something heavy again

Haha I still can't believe my wife took that video and pic of me lol. Besides Sunday night, I was pretty well-behaved. We went straight to bed Friday night when we got there and went sight-seeing all day Saturday. Saturday night, we went to a local bar in Brooklyn where we were staying to ring in the new year and we were asleep by 12:30. Sunday, we did more sight-seeing. We were around the WTC and stopped in a bar for a drink and dinner and we started talking with the bartender who also lifted and was about my size. He got off at 6 and drank with us and we didn't have to pay for shit, so it got out of hand quickly. I think I was passed out back at our place at like 8pm :anonymous:. Yesterday I was kinda hungover, but not too bad. Overall, I didn't eat nearly as bad as I thought I would...the worst thing I had were a few street vendor hotdogs. Drank water all day and we averaged about 8-10 miles walking per day. If anything, I was eating far too less than I should've been. We were on the go so much, I didn't have time to eat....probably 2000-2500 calories per day.

The first time I went to NYC I got a street vendor hot dog. Told myself I had to for the experience...

It was so bad. Worst hotdog I've ever had in my life. I still am baffled at how one can screw up a hotdog. It was cold, the bun was stale, and condiments were runny. Just awful.

Shit sucks man.....small tear in my cuff 14 years ago and it still bothers me if I go over 315 on the barbell. Dumbbells don't usually bother it.

    Hey everybody,

I own a fitness equipment manufacturing business. If anyone needs lifting equipment I am am a distributor for Cap Barbell, Intek Strength, and Troy Fitness. If you are interested in any of those products, I will beat anyone's price and it's brand new shipped to you.

I also manufacture racks, benches, platforms, etc., but I'm not ready to start shipping them all over the country yet. Right now I stay within reasonable driving distance to deliver and set up.

I'm currently working on a website to showcase my products and such, but in the meantime if you are interested in purchasing any equipment from the aforementioned brands, please contact me! fasttacoma@gmail.com

I'm about 2 months out from building a private studio gym and have been researching equipment. Haven't decided if I'm going to go for used/refurb or get new. I've got a budget in mind and an idea of what equipment I'm going to need. You might just be able to help me :D

    So far I'm thinking:

Power rack with pull up bar
Barbell Bench that can incline and decline
    Barbells
    Bench that can incline
    Stair climber
    Treadmill
    Row machine
    Bumper plates
    Dumbells, and rack
    Kettle bells, and rack
    Medicine balls, and rack
Wall mirrors, floor padding, wall padding

I'm also going to build a sweet deadlift platform that has two sandboxes for dropping the weight.
