That's a bummer on the motivation. The pump has been keeping me going through all these years. Similar to the runners getting their "runners high "...I know you all know what's up...once it becomes 2nd nature that's it..life commitment

True but for me it was a blessing because up until that point I want focused on strength at all. All I literally cared about was a number on the scale. After that I've focused on nothing but getting as strong as possible while maintaing clothing size my shirts have gotten bigger by my shoulders are twice the size they used to as well

I swear even stepping on a lego at night barefoot has no comparison to running a brand new bar shin length I never even touch anymore and for some reason I lined up too close and knurl burn all the way up

Protein and creatine....that's like the #1 thing people who are pinning say lol. But for real, we had a guy at our gym back when I worked there that would only workout once a year and that was for 3 months and he would go from 170 lbs to 220 and then no one would ever see him again until next year and he'd magically be small again. He told everyone he eats steak every night.

Agreed. Albeit, I only started in 2009 at 20 years old, but I can't ever see myself stopping. I went from a 140 lbs pencil neck to a 215 lb strong fatty. Now, I'm focused on getting into single digit body fat, but my fan club president @ThunderCookies doesn't think it can happen.

I can't wait to be that juiced up 70 year old in a stringer tank and one nut hanging out of my booty shorts.

    Mr. Crossfit over here.

Just be careful and not be fooled into thinking you can't get bucked off.

Having that mindset ("not stopping, "life commitment" that is) is good and necessary. But in worst case scenario of having to stop training via, injury/surgery, the mindset can be derailed. Recouping from things sometimes can drag out and time fly's like a mofo, then all those gains go down the drains of time and life.

Also burning out, don't ever let whatever you're doing get you burned out. Be it, where you're training or how you're training.

The combo of injury/surgery/burn out, is the worst to try and come back from and get back that needed "lifetime hungry commitment mentality".

Another reason to train smart for longevity. Keep things fresh and balanced too.

    Just my 2.

That whole decline talk and sitting up with heavy db's thing. It's really not hard.

If you place the weights on your quads and sit up. Then you can easily sit up after your done with the set. Then just stand up and ease the weights back down to the ground.
Just be careful with the lower leg shin pad standing up, so you don't trip and fall into the weight rack or bust your face on a mirror and knock yourself out in front of everyone, leaving your smashed faced print on mirror.
