@zacharypaul89 I am still waiting on bar results.

Also, still lifting, just not enough to hop in here and talk shit with you fuckers. I hope to be back to a 1200 lb total by the end of the year, but progress is slow. Getting old sucks.

I actually am a member of one of those country club gyms... haha

Through work I get a discount to equinox which is essentially globo gym from Dodgeball.

I work 5 days a week and 45 hours when not busy. Every quarter we have about 3 weeks of 80 hours and a couple weeks of 55-60. I work a lot of weekends haha.

I live in LA. My commute is only 40 miles but it's to Beverly Hills.

Bodyweight works great for staying lean, and putting on muscle.

You're asking the wrong people. Coach is on that forever bulk.

Jon has started that trend now, too.

Kerley's life is a bulk, it's just not working.

Got 315x5 on flat bench last night :benchpress:

Jeez and you took the July bar? I think the Georgia folks got their results around May.

Worst traffic in the nation...that sucks. Atlanta is only the 9th worst lol. My wife has family in Huntington Beach and one of her cousins moved to LA and he hates it.

    All of them.

I usually bulk Aug-Feb and cut March-July. It never goes well.

I bulked for 4 years straight, now going on over a year of "cutting". I don't believe in the traditional "cutting" if you take 4 years to gain weight you need to take at least 2 years to cut properly without losing your muscle. One simply cannot cut in 16 weeks of which one gained for 200 weeks. Unless you're on drugs then skys the fucking limit. Drugs, pfft. Natural is so much better. Be well.

It would be difficult for someone to cut that long without losing mass. Short terms cuts are better for muscle mass retention just want to watch overall caloric deficit. Thats why people cycle.

Can't imagine 1. being fat enough to have to cut that long and I'm fat right now (15%). And 2. having to live in deficit that long.

Like I said I'm 15% body fat. Looking to maintain 10%. 5'9" weigh 175, so I'm looking to lose around 10lbs before bulking. Just want to make sure I'm not screwing around too much and losing bulk time. Ill probably need to start a cut around March of next year. So thats like 4-5 months of bulking if you give me 10 weeks from now to cut.
Am I making this too hard? o_O

Why do you want to lose weight before you bulk? I'm 5'9 at 170 and 15% and I am trying my hardest to gain weight. It takes forever and I usually gain some lose some and basically net out over time. It's real annoying. The last thing I would want to do is purposefully lose weight and then set myself back trying to regain it...

Because I'm fat right now. I gained a lot if weight after my surgeries and just never got around to losing it. I went straight into a bulk once I was cleared to lift again.
Want to focus on bulking to gain more mass without feeling like next year I've gotta lose 20lbs to get my summer bod back. although I do understand that only happens when you "bulk irresponsibly" and gain like 5lbs a month lol. I plan on bulkng around 1-2lbs a month.

I have the opposite problem you have. I gain weight very easily lol so that isn't hard for me. Losing is hard for me.
    I really really like beer.

My fear is interfering with me gaining as much mass as I could. But I'm uncomfortable with my body fat level now.
