    Well, damn. In Aug before I started my bulk I did the pinch bf% thing and the hand grips and they both put me at 14-15%. I know those things aren't exact, but I don't see them being 5+% off :notsure:

    Pinch test puts me at 10-11%, my scale with the electric current puts me at 17%.

    Neither are probably right :notsure:

    Just google some % and see where you stack up

    The google pics don't really help me because I can find some that will say I'm 15% (which I know I'm not). I have 2 visible abs when I flex and I have arm and shoulder vascularity when I lift, but I've also got some stomach fat and like 0 quad definition. Let me go back and find a recent pic I may have posted in here...

    I think my core strength comes mainly from squats, standing ohp, pullups, and deadlifts, but I also do specific ab crap twice a week after my easier workouts. I usually do 3-4 sets of planks, side planks, weighted crunches, leg raises, and all the other basic bitch crap.

    Getting ab advice from hitch here is as bad as getting bulking advice from @Kerleyfries

    I can’t remember the last time I did a sit up or crunch and I’ve had a defined 4-6 pack for years :notsure:

    If you want a strong core, throw some of that stuff in. Or just do squats. If you want seeable abs. Eat clean and get lean in the belly. No amount of sit ups is going to make an ab show through a layer of fat

    Well no duh. Im not lookin for a six pack. I’m wanting bigger obliques and basically a more solid upper body. Plus a strong core is critical to lift heavy and provide some injury resistance.

    My core is mostly weak. I notice it on my heavier lifts. I just fucking hate ab work.

    I bet my abs are stronger than yours though. And I have a layer of fat and my abs show through (a little). Go tighten your man bun.
