    But then everyone will say “it’s easy to gain weight. Just eat more.” Yea, fatass, I have to eat about 5000 calories a day to gain weight. With clean(ish) foods, that means i have to force feed myself.

    Working out is easy. Eating enough to make gainz is the hard part.

    Benched 260x8 today and squatted 355x9 yesterday. Have to AMRAP deadlifts on Friday at 375 and then next week will start my meet prep training with my new “training maxes” based of those #s. For reference, the day after Christmas I squatted 345x8, benched 270x5, and DL 365x12. I used those for the last meet training and end up squatting 430, benching 315, and DL 457. Hoping to make some huge jumps for this next meet. I have an extra 3 weeks of training and not as many holidays to screw me up this go around.

    Chicken l, ribeye, salmon, bison, eggs, rice, oAts, cream of wheat / rice, potatoes, Rice Krispies or pop tarts, English muffins, yogurt, cottage cheese, peanut butter, and pretty much whatever vegetables I want as long as they are green. Oh and bananas

    Hate chest, hate squAts, and ever since I hit 700+ deadlifts I hate those too. Actually ended up eating a 645 Squat the other night by myself and had to let it roll off my back

    There is more to working out than just deadlift, bench and squats lol. I hardly do any of those anymore and enjoy working on way more than I ever did while doing them. I still incorporate them, but the number means nothing to me anymore. Unless you compete, who cares about those lifts.

    Uhhhhh I compete. Actually have my next comp next Saturday. I will be still be focusing all my lifts around those three but after this comp I’ll Begin alternating B.B. style workouts one week Strength the next to ensure my strength doesn’t drop off. My next comp after this one isn’t until August so it will give me a few solid months get in some good fluff work until July when I’ll start my peek again.
