Working out in the morning with little to no food in me is shitty. Much weaker and
Don't feel as motivated. I go after work with the majority of the food for
the day in me and I'm much stronger.

 

I'm loving it. Even though I'm cutting, my strength hasn't suffered at all. I can't wait to bulk on it.

I occasionally do cardio fasted but my cardio is only 10 min if I ever do it. Usually on the rower...

I usually lift around 11am and have consumed 1300cal by then

I also snack on about 200cal worth of cookies or gummies while I workout

 

How does that not make you wanna puke?

Props for being able to eat and workout.

 

Girl friend came to the gym and did legs with me yesterday.

Told her every rep i do i stare at myself in the mirror and tell myself "ass to grass. ass to grass"

did pretty good at getting to 90 or about for regular squats (still getting used to having a weighted bar on her shoulders)
And got even deeper for front squats. I knew she was pushing it for those when the inhales and exhales got louder and there was audible strain.

so proud.

Most of my workouts in this block make me dry heave on the brink of throwing up anyway. It’s a high volume block and wears me out quick

The intra food is like 2 Oreos just to keep my energy up. I also drink a G2 sometimes instead of just water

That’s not why you stare at yourself in the mirror

 

Just like eating while working out... IDK how couples workout together.

Haha, well she wanted me to show her what to do so she can do it correctly. And I’m always excited to support her and push her.

We do fucking everything together though, from rock climbing to back country skiing and working on the truck (handed her the grinder and glasses to take 2” out of my fenders while I changed spark plugs). So going and getting a work out in, just like having a friend do anything else with I guess

Our schedules don’t align well enough to do that all the time, so usually it’s me time to put on music and hammer through a workout

My husband thinks its funny while helping me with my truck is offering to take the drain bolt out of the oil pan and holler “oh cool! Where did you get pink oil?!”

Haha My husband is my bestfriend outside of work we always hang out.

But my workout time is my time. He’s supposed to steer clear of me at the gym.

 

You just don’t want him to see you checking out your gym crush’s booty while he’s squatting

 

Well I didn't really have the drive This morning for a heavy workout, but I got up to 2x5 @ 285lbs on skwats and then back down.did a lot of volume, 8@235, 10@ 185. Then some glute bridges and did light dumbbell shoulder presses and dumbbell bicep curls in between. I was sweating pretty good afterwards. Had me some eggs coffee rice and some cookies when I got home. Bbq for lunch at a local bbq place, now getting the inspection done on the taco. This year will be my 10 yr anniversary, but wife wants to celebrate next year by going to England just me and her. Also gym time is me time. Thinking of going in the afternoon and doing a lighter workout with accessory movements. We'll see. Still have to go get the title on taco changed over at the tax assessors office.

 

I should've done something special like that when my Taco turned 10. She is 12 going on 13 now

 

Go to England this year! Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today.
