I haven't shopped at volcom since I was like 17. What a throwback. I'll look into it though. I'm going to pick up the new smoker in Spokane so maybe I can find a few shops to try on clothes then.

Good news guys. I talked the fiancé into working out with me. It started rough. She would quit mid rep and wouldn't drop weight to finish. She would also quit mid workout and say it was too hard (it was easy). We fought because I took that shit too serious and yelled "get that shit up". Obviously my wrestling coach was coming out.

Fast forward 2 months and I was in a winter slump. She forced me to get in the gym. She loves it and loves the small transformation she has seen so far. She evens takes half of my weight off so we can rotate faster. We have 3 months until the wedding and we plan on making the most of it.

I have a couple pairs of pants I got J Crew that I really like. They fit pretty perfect. My dress, dress pants (and shirts) are all tailored to fit properly.

Over all dressing up sucks ass, especially if you lift.

btw what smoker are you getting??

I bought pants in a 34 and had them taken to a 30 and they still look like someone painted them on my ass and quads. I’ve about given up.

I struggle with jeans too. Levi’s are the only brand I found, but they’re still tight on my legs and loose on my waist. They’re stretchy though which makes up for it some.

I wear a 30/32 in pants and Lucky Jeans fit well, haven’t had any issue with dress pants but I also only dress up maybe 1-2x per year...

I just bought a pair of Lucky jeans in 30/30 and they are tight af but they make my ass look nice so I kept them

Not really formal dress pants but my Levis Commuter pants have a good amount of leg room and stretch in the quad. They're my go-to business casual set.

Tried getting tailored pants? Little more expensive but sometimes necessary.

Jeans are much more difficult for me.

Set 2 pretty big PR’s this week.

Just pulled 375 on a stiff bar and I squatted 265 on Thursday. My big 3 along with body weight are slowly but surely going up. Weighed 180 today post workout. Gonna try to up my calories this week to about 4300 and see if I can continue to put on weight since I kinda stalled out this week and didn’t put any weight on.

Most days at work I dress in golf attire: semi dress pants and a polo. The pants I’ve found that are most comfortable are Levi 541 and J Crew Sutton. The Levi’s 541 are athletic fit and stretch in the thighs and waist...only downside is they only come in khaki and navy blue. The J Crew Sutton is the second skinniest pants they have (behind the Driggs), so you have to get a size or two up for them to fit comfortably in the quads and crotch areas.

For suit and tie days, you’ve got to go custom tailored even if you’re not a lifter.
