    Oooh that would suck!

I’m with you on the home gym. I have a power rack and some bumper plates. I never have a good workout when I do it at home.

I’ll usually do maxes at home though. The gym I go to has those squat racks with the semi high rails. So being 5’10” and doing full depth squats I have to walk completely out to squat. Last week I was maxing front squats and got stuck at the bottom and had to bail the weights. That got the whole gym to look over.

Same with bench. I’m too big of a puss to ask for a random spot so I do at home as well. Or just pray I don’t get staples at the gym.

First week completed. Cheat meal was Chipotle, but I kept it pretty much to the macros I needed. Had extra fats due to the dairy but alas it is a cheat meal. Weigh in tomorrow. I am already less bloaty (damn milk with my protein from all those years) and am pretty excited of the minor changes already. Goal is no less than #210 but, I am really hoping for #215.

This lower amount of carbs which I have never done in my life, has been rough already - very hungry and very tired. I am sure it will get better and then worse once my diet changes again! So far so good though, pumps and everything in the gym feel near the same. Strength is still there but it will drop soon I am sure.

I go to Gold's but want to get a home gym set up in my garage. I prefer lifting alone. An empty gym is my dream, that's why I try to go as late as possible. It's usually only 2 or 3 of us in there, and it's the same 2 or 3 most of the time. Even though Gold's is supposed to be a more meathead type gym, hardly anyone there even lifts. Very few people even squat or deadlift, and even fewer do it properly. The amount of fuckery I see when I go during "regular" hours is ridiculous. I swear, if one more person curls in the squat rack...

The low carbs will suuuuuck. The first 2 weeks anyway. No energy, mental fog, probably headaches. Mine usually only lasts the first 2 weeks though. After that you’ll feel great.

Sweet, good to know. I can definitely feel those issues coming and going. Hopefully they will subside after first 2 weeks like you mention.

Once your body turns to burning fat, you’ll feel fantastic. I typically don’t have that mid afternoon crash when I’m on a low carb diet.

Of course, low carb doesn’t work for everyone. But, it should definitely help you burn off a little body fat.

Got 4 wisdom teeth pulled and 3 crowns and a few cavaties filled on Monday so no gym because I'm not allowed to raise my blood pressure so I don't blow my stitches :(

Gotta wait a week or 2. Sucks.

I had 1 wisdom tooth pulled a couple weeks ago. Pulled on a Monday, I lifted Thursday. Very light, but I lifted. Then pulled that following Sunday...pulled 405 for a couple triples. On the second set i tasted blood. Apparently I busted the hole back open. Oops.

Lol no I went with white because it comes with privledges! And yea I spent like 4 hrs on my back. Doc had to yank the last tooth out by standing up I think. I was pretty much awake and numb through the whole thing. They gave me Xanax and some other thing that made me loopy and gave me another before they pulled my teeth out. I dont remember much of what happened after I got home. I pretty much said hi, took a piss, went and said hi to my kids went and laid down and passed out. They gave me some hydrocodone for the pain, but the pain isnt that bad. I just take ibuprofen. Now I have to wait to get the stitches out on Monday then get my crowns on the 30th.

Can't wait to get back to the gym. I'll ask on Monday if I can go back even though the post OP instructions say 2 weeks. :/

Im still bleeding from mine, not sure if it's the lower wisdom tooth hole or my crown, but I'm sure it's from the hole. I remember doc saying "we gotta get this blood under control" lol. Apparently I bled a lot.

Somehow I managed to not gain or lose a single pound while in Disney . My scale results from the day before I left and today (day after returning) are exactly the same :D

I also managed to avoid the pool or wearing a bathing suit the whole trip too

About to head to the gym now for my first workout in 6 days. So excited!

Anyone use wrist wraps? Irritated/ sprained my right wrist benching the other day. Figure with the constant heavy weight, the wraps could do some good. Brands? Love them or hate em?

Rogue has some good ones. They are pretty comfortable, I use them if I need extra support.
