New PR on Lé Skwats. RPE 8. Last week I did 3? Today I feel a lot stronger. Maybe longer rest days are in order. I haven't done squats in almost a week. This was low bar too which feels good and more stable and not hard on my back. Just wanted to brag a little. I could have done 7 but left some in the tank.

I'm looking at possibly starting to use a pre-workout to try. The first one I've ever tried was PreJym, which I didn't feel anything from other than feeling nauseated like I was going to throw up. Not sure what ingredient caused this feeling. Lately I've been just using ON Amino Energy. When I first used this product I could feel the beta alanine but now, I get very little tingle. On top of that I'm taking 4 scoops instead of the 2 scoop serving size making this a 15 serving container. I was thinking about trying C4 sport, or C4 original but wondered what others would be good without being too much more expensive than what I'm currently doing which is $1.33 per serving(4 scoops) of Amino Energy. I'm having to go to the gym around 8pm due to my wife and I's schedule and then coming home to wind down and go to bed.. I thought about EVL Engen but not sure with 300mg of caffeine.

 

Singularity by ouroboros. Has 200mg of caffeine (not too bad since you are working out late), 5g creatine, 4g beta alanine, and 8g citulline malate. That's it, no bs fillers that you don't need. Also $30 for 30 servings, but can be cheaper if you buy in bulk.

Buy the ingredients you want in your preworkout. Bulksupplements has individual ingredients that you can mix together. IMO my favorite besides original Jack3D would be HYDE.

I prep 12servings at a time and add a packet of EmergenC for flavor and some bonus vitamins

 

I rarely do preworkout now, usually on heavy days/PR/Meets. I always smoke before working out though.

I don’t know why everyone loves C4 so much. I’ve never felt a thing from it.

I do like Mr. Hyde. I usually only do half a scoop unless it’s squat or deadlift day.

 

C4 is the starter pre workout. Then you find out you can make your own and add more beta to it! Haha
