Its unfortunate you were given poor advice by a doc that led to delay in treatment.

Your squat and dead numbers are bad ass though.

My gym has a PT. Maybe I’ll talk to him. Or at least look them up and see if they are good first.

I’m way past that. This problem has been going on and off for a couple years. At one point I had it almost completely gone. I have no idea what I did. Then one day I decided to try toes to bar. Hanging like that with a close grip did me in again. Now it’s probably the worst ever.

I have full strength in almost every exercise. Even OH pressing. Just have the pain. It’s only when my arm is above my head and I have weight to move past that. For an actual example if I’m standing by my truck (driver side) and I need to get something from the passenger seat. I’m fully stretched with arm getting close to ear. I have no strength and max pain. I can barely even lift my laptop up and over the center console. And I’m not a huge wimp (compared some of you I am), my main numbers are OH strict press is 185, squat 415, deadlift 455, bench I maybe can get 245 due to shoulder issue.

Sucks hearing all this pain issues from you guys. I'm almost completely over my .Elbow tendonitis but it seems to be just chronic now and hurts very little even after heavy lifts. It just sucks we never learn about how to prevent (specific) injuries when we were younger. It would be nice to know, but when you're young you're indestructible.

I had A LOT of pain but all my strength as well. The biggest issue I had (and still do) is pulling behind my back. The example I can think of is sweeping, pulling a broom towards me and too my side. Laying in bed and moving the covers behind me was another one. I'd wake up multiple times a night.
I could do it all, it just hurt like a MF.

I did not have a torn tendon though, my rotator cuff muscles and tendons had elongated from my left shoulder being dislocated twice. So my rotator cuff no longer worked. It was a product of what @KenpachiZaraki mentioned... being a dumb ass kid and thinking you are invincible.

Might be a good thing that you are still physically capable of most or nearly all movements.

There’s probably a little something in my right one. I don’t know about the left. Had bursitis in my right shoulder in high school.

The owner of the gym is an idiot and refuses to move the rack from the window.

He’s preparing for married life, when he won’t be allowed in the den anymore.

Actually the lighting is good in there but you only have a certain window of time when the sun is right. I don’t lift in there though . I get lonely. I drive 40min to the powerlifting gym downtown solely for the atmosphere. Walking in their door adds 5% to any lift #science

    I 100% agree.

A lot of you guys on here want to build your own home gyms.
Not me. If I don’t have others around me motivating me or just being there to make me care about my ego, I don’t lift well.
