Abs happen non stop. I remember you telling me that working out doesn’t help with abs or whatever. How are yours coming ?

 

Working out doesn’t help abs? I don’t work abs at all. I’m still on a cut, and they’re actually coming in nicely, just a little slower than I thought.

 

Yea I remember the convo now. Good to hear. I work out abs 24/7. Even if I bulk and can’t see em as good as before. They’re still there and I want to be able to get big and still have them. Won’t be easy but doable.

 

Btw y’all were right. Rammstein radio goes hard.

 

Rammstein is all good, but not much beats Slayer in my book..or anything Glenn Danzig does as I mentioned before

 

Its best not to work on a hypertrophy program when you are losing weight.
So typically that means staying away from lifting heavy.

When in a caloric deficit you don’t want to be doing a program that you will not be able to recover from and increase injury risk.

Unless you are a newbie and have a higher body fat percentage you aren’t going to be gaining in mass and strength, so that shouldn’t be your focus when on a cut.

 

Agree. I focused more volume when cutting and it worked well. I did do some heavy sets here and there. We aren't talking maxing, but if I couldn't do more than 6 reps it was too heavy.

 

Heres a photo of my play lists. The only 3 I listen to. Just type in those names and they should pull up.

 

I only listen to “hype music” for heavy days.
