But seriously, congrats brother. Been with my wife for 17 years, married 14 on the 27th..no complaints mostly. I get a lot of freedom which is key.

 

Thank you all! We are very happy and live an extremely similar life which I think benefits us for our personalities. She is 4 weeks out from her first competition and we live and breathe the gym together. My ex didn't commit nearly the amount I did, but now this one is more committed than me most days!! haha.

I am in fat mode and she is in full prep and I know if we can get through me eating lucky charms and tacos everyday as she eats her 4 oz salmon, 8 asparagus spears and 4 oz sweet potato, we can get through anything lol.

It has its ups and downs. Like honestly we talked about it a couple days ago. She’s been in school for 2 months and getting deployed next week for 7-9 months. I’m at the airport on the way to visit her now but honestly we will have only spent 5-7 DAYS together during this year lol. It’s pretty insane but we are both also very loner types where we do good without company. Like we aren’t the type that NEEDS affection every single day.

It ain’t easy tho for sure

 

I don’t need affection everyday... but certainly much more than 5-7 times in 3 months HAHA.
The lack of sexy time would probably do me in on that deal.

 

If I wasn’t so busy then I’d probably be the same way lol but I’m constantly running and stressing. don’t have much time sit and think and deal with emotions thankfully

Hey how are the adipowers working out for you? I got a pair of legacy lifters off FB right after, those Adidas were way too narrow for me but glad I got these!

 

There was a day when I was running and lifting 20 hours a week while working full time.
Then a day where I worked 60-80 hours a week as a full time grad student.


I now work 40 hrs a week workout 8 hours a week and I was thinking about getting a side hustle goin for a little extra cash....
But I have no more desire to do that shit. XD
I’ve gotten so lazy.

Some days I wish I could just work 20 hrs a week to workout the other 20 hours. I think that will be my retirement.
