I’m actually needing to get a side hustle goin. Something to accelerate my dreams.

I probably could get a decent food prep or personal coaching business going. I’m just lazy and I am just not into running a business.

I’ve done some moderate coaching before but for free. I could cross country coach for a local school. I like working with kids.
Adults are harder to motivate haha.

That’s true! I’ve actually thought about that as well.

Lots of people like to run but don’t like doing stuff alone or needs someone to push them. Kinda like a personal trainer but for running. I bet you could get some people to pay for that. Just gotta market it right.

You think people would pay me to case them with a chainsaw? I think that would be highly effective to get people to run lol

I could do more coaching/training for charge. I like working with everyday people to get them to their health/fitness goals.

@PackCon @weldertaco starting a personal training business is pretty easy. I did it a little over 2 years ago. Certs only cost like $500. I think I put a total of $2,500 in to my equipment (but I got some nicer stuff from Rogue - power bar, bumper plates, concept rower). In less than 2 years I brought in about $8,000 and I would only train a total of 2-3 hours per week. I set it all up in the garage so I had 0 overhead cost and once I broke even on my start up costs everything is straight profit. I haven’t had time to do it in about 6mos due to a change in my full time job and my certification expires at the end of June (cost another $500 to renew) but if my job changes again and I have more free time on my hands I’ll definitely get it going again.

Everyday someone wakes up and says “today’s the day I get in shape” you just have to be the one they call to help. Otherwise they’ll end up at planet fitness eating pizza and bagels thinking that’s better for them

The dream. Going to put a flatbed on it?
And judging by your name, I’m going to assume you weld for a living... on what?

I actually just started doing some fabrication and mechanical work on the side. Just nights and weekends. Mainly just for local TW guys but I’m going to start branching out if this first wave of work goes smoothly. Right now I have 2 cmc’s to cut and plate. A set of sliders and a set of skids to weld up, and 8 bumpers to weld together. It all piled up much much quicker than I thought it would.

Slowly, but appears steadily, moving back to more of a bodybuilding routine. Need to lose some weight and tighten things up a little. Cut way back on the poundage yesterday and tried some timed sets for 10-12 reps. Normally going heavy my time between sets isn't even checked but would guess at least 3-5 minutes. Kept it to 2 minutes yesterday and just went for reps/pump instead of near failure. Whew! By the end of the 5th set(s) I was feeling it! Been a long time since I've been in this world. lol Was losing too much of my desire to even get out and train, skipping days and even took a week off, but still didn't feel like getting out there. Time for a fresh challenge and perspective to put some fire back in the furnace! :p

Girlfriend was able to score a couple bottles of these from her work for me. Supposedly really good omega 3s. Bottles are like $60 a pop
