Ya, doctor said no work this week either. Which is nice to not work, but sucks I just have to essentially rest and sleep all day haha. I probably shouldn’t use any screens all day but I’ll for sure go crazy if I do that. Hoping I’ll be cleared by this weekend. Dying not being able to workout or surf

“No screen time” as he posts to an online forum

Hope you get better. Take the protocol serious though. My father in law has been on concussion protocol since March. He is 70 though and is a doctor so probably the worst patient. He refuses to listen to other doctors and still sits at his computer, in front of a tv, or on his phone all day. He can’t drive and hasn’t been allowed to work (needs to retire anyway) because he’s not getting any better since he won’t take it serious. Stubborn old man :frusty:

My girlfriend yells at me for it too haha. But I can only talk to my dogs for so long in a day before I get bored  I definitely have improved over the last week though. The main issues are when I’m trying to read detailed things that require more attention and correctness than TW haha

Ya I can. I just listened to podcasts all last week. Probably will do the same again this week. Can’t wait till I’m back to normal.

I wouldn't sell those ever. Best shoes I have ever owned for squatting.

Day 53 into my cut. 226 down to 202.

Chest day yesterday... I am now down to 30 carbs a day (minus veggies). 30 carbs white rice preworkout.

3 days no carbs has me feeling flat. Got an ok pump, but fuck I was tired.

I loved em. But I walk a little funny. Like I can never wear slip on boots. Always had to wear lace ups.

Shoes like this were cool but I need the ankle support

Hit the gym last night after work with my sister, the run sucked because I bumped up the pace.
20 push-ups this morning when I got to work and just did another 20, it’s gonna make me push myself harder than I was before but I plan on sticking with the sets of 20.

Don’t toss those. Also they aren’t “leg day shoes” those are squat shoes. You put them on, go squat, then take them of and put them back in your bag. I have 2 pair off squat shoes, a pair of deadlift shoes, and then a pair of ‘cross training’ shoes in my gym bag. Most days I’m wearing the cross trainers (just a pair of nikes) and then when it comes time to squat or deadlift I switch shoes. They aren’t made for other exercises. The heel is elevated, of course you walk funny

What do you need “ankle support” for? You trying out for the NBA?

Was reading a few pages back about you guys with sweet tooths like me. Big game changer lately has been my breakfast which is usually an omelette with some turkey etc- I've been adding some oatmeal in. Make some oatmeal with two big scoops of almond butter, throw in half a chopped apple- literally taste like a taffy apple or something. I know some people will throw in a scoop of chocolate whey protein too, makes it a good peanut butter/chocolate type treat. No guilt at all- completely good for ya.

I walk funny naturally is what I’m saying lol. I tried these out and realized I prefer the feeling of high top shoes. Not a big deal
