I always rest when I'm sick.....in the long run missing a couple sessions will have no impact on your overall training.

Use this time to low carb the lean gains and get that 6 pack workin! (or not and have some comfort food ;))

I like to workout and sweat my ass off when I'm sick or feel like I'm getting sick. But if I'm already all the way into being sick, eh the gym can fuck off, I'm sleeping.

Eat many fruits when sick or take vitamin C/antioxidants. Going to the gym will make it worst unless you feel like you can sweat it off. Usually a fever can sweat off but other than that, be in bed and get rest.

So a while back I posted a video of my squats and I guess I was using my knees... And I have been trying to work on my form. One of the issues I was having was back pain. I no longer feel back pain doing squats but now that I've been using my upper legs more I don't go as far down. Some may say its an incomplete squat. What do you guys think?

Might want to put it on mute. My friends weird lol

You should be looking up more, look towards the ceiling. But yea those look like incomplete squats, you aren't getting much range of motion. I'm not sure how to not "use your knees" when you squat....

Lol yeah I like looking at my form.

Well one of the critiques I received was my knees where going past my toes. Any further down and that's what will happen. I can't go parallel without my knees moving past my toes

I see no way around that.... honestly looking up during your squat will probably help your back more than doing a half squat.

Try keeping your toes angled out more and knees flared..it may help. My form isn't perfect but I still feel the MMC

I would say it's better for your legs in that you are getting a full range of motion, I would say it's terrible for your back because it almost looks like you are hunched over.

This is a good shot of good form, chin up, but back, toes straight forward, feet shoulder width apart.

^^ That's good form for him because he's flexible.....I'd widen my stance some with feet/knees pointed out slightly. Neutral cervical spine while looking forward/slightly up (otherwise your neck will hurt the next day)! When you squat think of your torso going between your legs (hinging at the hips). Squats are hip dominate and not concentrated to the quads!

This is pretty wide but you get the point!
