Is she overweight? Not in a rude way but I notice that overweight people tend to hurt more when getting into cardio like jogging and I always just assumed it hurts because of the added weight. So it’s like a “if you power through it will get better” thing.

 

Overweight?? If you were to look at the new guidelines for obesity and overweight then yes she weighs less than 165 pounds and is strong but has some curves (which I like )

Edit also she’s not as skinny as when we were doing CrossFit 4-5 days a week when she was below 155 but her knee hurt before we started CrossFit also.... ps. We don’t do CrossFit now.

 

My tear is likely on the end of the meniscus so only deep bending rubs the injury.

I’ve never had knee troubles with running.
In fact the best my joints ever felt was running more than 40 miles a week.

Gotta have good shoes and be careful to not run too much too quickly. A new runners body can get overwhelmed quickly.

I’ve been told by numerous coaches I was born to run. My stride is pretty much perfect.
That may have something to do with it.

We all have those things that do and do not mix with us.

For me its biking. It just causes me all kinds of back, hip, and knee pain.
