I have my own fridges of beer to go through. And a closet. Too many BBA stouts I can’t drink alone.

Um how dare you keep your beer in a closet.

The struggle is going to get real for me because I just started my side hustle working at a local microbrewery. I get free beer while I work.

It’s all bourbon barrel aged stuff that costs like 20-25 a bottle haha. They’re all 14% at least, with the highest being 20.59% :bananadead: they’re hard to drink all to yourself unless you wanna be done after one beer haha

Yeah I’m not a fan of that stuff.

I like bourbon barrel Zinfandels or Cabs but not into the barrel aged beers. They have this soy sauce flavor I really can’t get past.

Just like how a lot of Belgian whites taste like fucking bologna LOL

You have a weird fucking pallet lol. I am kind of over the BBA stuff though. I’ve got 3+ year old bottles in there though that will end up being pretty good. There’s some of them that I’m trying to get rid of though. I just want a nice lager haha

    Haha I just might.

I like virtually all the lighter color beers. The yeast variations in belgians I’m just not a fan of. I don’t like too many unfiltered beers.
IPAs and Pales have been my jam this year.
    I love lagers tho.

I’m not into too many stouts. A lot of the microbrewers in our area like to do all these flavored stouts and its making them mega sweet.
I really like Guinness. Just plain ol stout. Not cocoa berry coconut pork belly peanut butter shit everyone wants to brew to set them apart.

Have you tried a milkshake IPA? Its all the rage lately.

Lactose does not belong in an IPA lol.

I love a good plain stout as well. But also love a sweet pastry stout too. West coast ipas are the best though. Piney and bitter and delicious.

No lactose does not belong in an IPA. Truer words have never been uttered.

This seems like a pretty good thread to subscribe to. I've been lifting weights consecutively for 3 years now. I'd like to see the PR's flowing in, especially since the majority on here are natty as well (watching Larry Wheels is just disheartening).
I'm 6'3" weighing in at 230lb right now. Summer time construction (roadway) had dropped me down to 220 or so since the Georgia sun will melt the gains right off of you. Started working nights and I've been able to start packing it on again.
My main goal this winter is to deadlift over 600. That's really all I want for numbers. This photo was in early February and the current PR. 585

I'm trying to figure out what is more impressive, the 585 or the fact you are holding it in your bare hands.

I appreciate it. All that chalk helps. I've never even tried using wraps. Also never had the opportunity to pull on a real deadlift bar that will actually flex. Kinda sucks. I got 585 three times this winter. Tried 605 and didn't get it above my knee caps.
