    Almost to hour 24 of today's fast and y'all still talking about food... I might cut this one short at 26 hours lol

    Best part is I'm not craving shit food, only my teriyaki chicken and rice I prepped yesterday.

    I have a cheat day the day before but only eat from 12pm-8pm, then I fast 24-36 hours, then go into my normal prepped meals for the week the following morning.

    I don't train, if anything I'll just do some light cardio/yoga.

    I never imagined strongmen would fast after seeing yalls size. Do you work a physical job ? I just can’t physically comprehend working on your feet and sweating without eating :laugh: I freaking wake up hungry.

    A lot of strongmen don't, which is why 90% of them just look like really fat guys who are extremely strong underneath. Everyone I have trained with eat whatever and whenever they want to chase calories. I eat very clean and do intermittent fasting and carb cycling because it helps me keep fat off so I stay quick in moving events and can pack on muscle without adding so much fat. Plus it gives my digestive system a break from eating so much lol. It would work better for me to gain all out size and strength to simply eat all the time and not worry about fat gain, but being this size is already unhealthy as it is, I don't want to be 350lbs and 40% BF... I want to be 350lbs and 18% or under.

    Furthermore, I have not taken anything steroid wise in my strongman career yet. However, taking PEDs while being 40%+ BF is essentially suicide. It's much better and easier on your liver, cardiovascular, and endocrine system to have less body fat before starting a cycle. So I want to max out my natural potential while staying leaner before I do any kind of gear.

    I used to listen to Freedom Radio back in the day. I was a Libertarian (and still am to a large degree) in undergrad. Graduate school woke me a bit.
    But I really don’t fit in anywhere. My ultra conservative Dad thinks I’m a Marxist and all my liberal socialist friends think I’m a wing nut Republican. Can’t make anyone happy I guess.

    I agree there is no common sense normal people new source. Back when I was in school you got expelled if you didn’t cite sources properly now people get paid to make shit up.

    Truth. No one knows the connection you form with the ocean unless you grew up with it. Even if you move to California or another coastal state (and a coastal area to live in) in your later years, it's just never the same. It's such a weird bond and I always feel a little off when I'm not near the ocean.

    I don't post a lot of shirtless pics or selfies so don't expect anything but training and competition stuff lol

    See pics below. I'm not super lean or cut in bodybuilding standards, but I'm also not fat. Last caliper test at 291lbs came back at 17.9% BF. Before that I had cut down to 275 and was around 15-16%

    Also I have no idea how to do a proper lat spread, so you bodybuilders don't judge lol

    What gets me is people I meet that never go in (or down to) the ocean ?? .. it's like, you might as well live in Sanburdoo. Which reminds me ... most IE people are scum, can't even be bothered to walk 20ft to throw their trash away.

    Eddie lost a lot of weight and looked insane! Being 340-350lbs with crazy visible and is nuts. Pretty sure he is on his way back up in weight now, he's putting on size to try for the raw bench press record. Shaw has lost about 20-25lbs, I think he is around 410lbs and right around 20-22% BF which is just insane.
