2year anniversary dinner last night. Had veggies, bread, smoked meats dipped in melted cheese. Then pasta, steak, duck, and sausage cooked up. Dessert was melted s’mores style chocolate with fruit and other assorted cakes.

Nice change from chicken, rice, and oatmeal

For sure there is. Alan Thrall has a great video on how to do it. The main thing to know is that you never bend your arms or try to curl the stone to your lap, that's what tears biceps. You also can't "squat" the stone up like people think, it's all arms and back. You gotta lock your arms in and squeeze then lift straight up until it's high enough to sit it in your lap.

I've seen a lot of guys tear biceps on stones and tire flips because they think there is no technique. Pretty sure it's the most common strongman injury but don't quote me.

Interesting about it being connected to the bicep. I need to go to the doctor and see about just a routine check up and get some bloodwork done anyways. Maybe I can kill 2 birds with one stone

Ehh. Was diagnosed at 14. Levels were fine and nothing changed from 14-19 so I quit going. Still feel exhausted 24/7. I’ve felt the same way since I was 14.

I think that and my shoulder are all that are wrong that I need to see the doc about

Random but I just ate a kiwi with the skin and bruh. Can’t even really taste the difference and saves time from cutting it up lol thanks for the recommendation!

14 is young. But studies have shown a positive TPO test can show up 10 years prior to clinical symptoms.
Still I’d be shocked a doctor that long ago would have the sense to look for Hashis.

I normally run hyperthyroid but if I’m stressed, not eating right, don’t sleep well my thyroid tanks.

Having thyroid levels in the normal range can still mean you experience clinical symptoms of low thyroid. So always test TPO and not just TSH or thyroid levels.

And my doc has started testing a plethora of nutrient levels too. Autoimmune conditions usually have gut symptoms even if you don’t realize it. Your gut can be inflamed and not taking what it can from your food leading to deficiencies. I was mega low on all the B vitamins, D, E, and Selenium.

So just throwing out ideas to ask about when you go to a new primary doc. The first B12 shot I got made me feel like a new person.

I hope you get that figured out. When my thyroid drops I can sleep 10-12 hours a night and still will be falling asleep at work. The fatigue can be torturous.

    It was.

I remember one time in class I was sitting next to some chick and I can’t remember what the hell brought the subject up but I was like “I eat the skin of a kiwi” and shes like “I eat shrimp tails” I was like “you win”
    LOL

Glad you find the nutrient dense skin appetizing.

I was let go early tonight. Having a late snack of tuna, largely chunked pickles, and mayo (tuna salad).

You sounded too chipper for someone who had been fired. Well, rest up. Enjoy the extra sleep.
