    And yet they always seem to start world wars that we have to clean up. Mustard gas and being shot is also bad for your health.

    What is everyone doing today?

    I have a high volume speed work day planned.

    I did find out discontinuing my yogurt PM snack and doing nuts w/ fruit stops my heartburn problems on speed day.

    It must be the jostling dairy or the Ca+ that was the culprit.

    Im fashion designing today (data analysis). Followed by aggressive lifting without a plan for stress relief purposes. Likely heavy squats, bench, and pull-ups until I cant hang on.

    I may need to try IF this week. When I’m stressed I like do not eat. I just looked up at the clock and realized I haven’t eaten since 9.

    @broke_down

    Ok so. Lets say I could agree to a 16/8 fasting schedule.

    What constitutes fasting?
    If I can’t drink my black coffee in the morning I’m out.

    If I eat 2500cals in 12 hours usually I just switch to that in 8 hours? No fancy changes other than that?

    Not eating.

    You set a caloric limit on your liquids during this time to prevent cheating. My limit is the exact amount in two scoops of whey protein.

    Beer or any alcohol is not a good idea while fasting. Its going to mess with your fasting metabolism. If you high-jack your liver to process booze, it will inhibit all the hormonal stuff that we are trying to induce by fasting and prevent your liver from processing your fat reserves to help feed your body. So, 100% no alcohol while fasting.

    Thats what I said. Its clear thats a no.

    So during my fasting periods it will only be black coffee and water, maybe green tea. If those are allowed I’m good. Ill start tomorrow.

    Can whey protein shakes post workout make you put on unwanted weight if you don’t incorporate enough cardio into your routine?
