But also that’s what happens whenever everyone wants to move to the same place. Earth is only so big and everyone wants big houses and businesses. No room for trees.

This is what we’re comparing and why I say I hate ATL. This is my home town. Living in a big city would make me blow my brains outB884CC8E-804D-4FB4-976E-7D1DD25A6502.jpg00B93FF7-62AE-495A-8778-3EBC8F7C2E97.jpg

The snow thing drives me crazy. I always drive around and make money pulling people out of ditches or taking people food when they’re “snowed in” for a day or two.

    I don’t completely agree.

Chicago has its issues but I’ve traveled to places like St. Louis... and I’m sorry but St. Louis compares to Egypt and other 3rd world countries I’ve traveled to.
You pull off on the wrong exit and holy shit... lock all your fucking doors and grasp something sharp.
I don’t feel that way in Chicago. Although I’m not a big city person period. Again, farm boy.

See that I can get behind.

The smokey mtns in TN seem nice too.

I used to live in CO. Mountains were pretty but that state has two seasons and politically its weird.

we go to Cade’s Cove/Gatlinburg once or twice a year. Not a bad drive from where we are.

Went in and worked up to my planned openers today. Didn’t go as well as I hoped, but I’m not freaking out. My squat just felt off. Not that the weight was heavy, just wasn’t in my groove. You’ll see a little bobble just before I hit the bottom of my squat. Not sure what caused it, but it scared me and I cut it a little high. I’m pretty sure I’d get red lights on depth for this squat, although this is a terrible angle to judge depth because the plate obscured the view of the top of my thigh.

Either way, it moved well. Think I didn’t take my warm up as seriously as I should have because I wasn’t getting hyped up for a big lift or set like I have been for the last month. Won’t make that mistake again.

bench and deadlift went very well. Buttery smooth and easy reps

here’s my plans for anybody who speaks kilo.

I think that squat would get the red lights too. I treat every lift and rep like it’s max effort, even when I’m just warming up with the bar. Half the battle is technique and muscle memory.

Numbers look good. Now get some rest and be ready on game day. You got this!

from that angle it looks parallel. I added a 0* line from the top of your knee so you can see where your hip crease is.

Certainly looks that way when you put that line in there. Does it look parallel to you without the line? If so, that’s not good. Like, at all. Haha.

to me, in my obviously very biased opinion, my hip crease looks below the top of my knee.

that’s bring the question of where on the knee are they looking?

Should have had this conversation weeks ago. Noob mistakes.

That is the very bottom for me, but I can throw my romaleos on and get deeper than I am there in the flats.

altering the mechanics of my squat by changing shoes after the prep is a terrible idea.

but not nearly as bad as bombing out on depth.

You are fine. Just make sure you bury it on meet day. And it’s up to the judges and they all have different angles/views. My 2nd meet I got a red light from the front judge for depth on my first squat attempt but both side judges gave me white. The person with the worst view of depth is the front judge lol. I was pissed BUT 2 whites is a good lift so I moved on. A girl from my gym bombed out of her meet last weekend because she got called for depth and she posted a picture where she was clearly at depth (from that angle) but the side judges red lighted her SO it’s all subjective. Don’t overthink it. Just bury it and stand back up :D

Do you have your meet order yet? You probably won’t be first, so watch others and see what the judges are calling good and bad depth on to get an idea before you get up there
