You know what sucks? Going out for a 12 miler and 3.5 miles in you get pissed at your phone so you restart it and then restart your podcasts.
About an hour later you realize your app is no longer interrupting your podcasts to tell you how far you have run... because when you shut off your phone GPS stopped

I got suckered out of $1k because the fucking fireman/paramedic kept insisting I had a neck injury from my fucking board hitting me. I said no multiple times and still ended up going. $1k to the ambulance and $1k to the ER. I would have just had the $1k ER bill had I been more persistent and had my buddy drive me.

I’m on hra. Thinking about switching to HSA now but I almost never go to the dr and my company only gives $700 for the HSA or HRA so. My insurance essentially did nothing for all my bills that I incurred this year so that’s fun.

I use my HSA anytime I go to Walgreens or a drug store, paid for all my out of pocket surgery expenses, and paid for about 16months of chiropractor visits before I got tired of their pseudoscience and quit going

He was just doing his job. You never know with some people. They can seem just fine and 48 hours later they die of a brain bleed (typically exacerbated by 48 hour peak swelling and them using NSAIDS to curb head aches which thins the blood)

    Live and learn.

It does really suck though I’m sorry.

Obviously you are in the wrong Biz though. Just give ER rides from the beach everyday for $500 a pop and undercut the ambulances lol.
Put like “Ambulatory Transport” on the side so its for nonemergency ambulatory patients only LOL

So you are not pro chiros?

I have only been to podiatrists as far as non real doctors. I think podiatry is a fucking joke.

Never been to a chiro though.

I would say enough to know how to do the lifts properly.
If you have not perfected form work on that first with lower weight.

Oh I know. I’m not blaming him at all. Liability and all that other bullshit. They were just doing their jobs. I just wish after the 4th time saying no I don’t want to go in the ambulance that that would have been enough.

just called my insurance. Apparently they can’t do anything about the claim. If I want it appealed, I have to write an appeal and send it in. So, I will be writing an appeal because fuck them. That’s $200 back in my pocket and not to the scamming company that is insurance.

Chiropractor is 100% bullshit. The specific one I went to took x rays before they did any adjustments and then every 6months would take x rays again to show you changes in your spine angle and any other irregularities they were correcting but it’s a bunch of pseudoscience. They claim proper alignment will alleviate the need for any kinds of medicines and things of that sort, which is BS. They also try and pitch that everyone is treated individually with a special treatment plan unique to their needs but then every single patient that comes through gets the same exact adjustments. They did them out in the open on tables while the next patients just sat in chairs watching and waiting.

At most, it’s a temporary fix but no root cause remedies. If I had a sore neck or sore lower back from a heavy workout I’d get an adjustment, feel better for 2 days and then need another. He thought he could fix my hip issues which clearly needed surgical intervention.

I won’t be going back again, I’d rather get a deep tissue massage

    ...and maybe a happy ending

I almost never go to a Walgreens or drug store. I will probably switch to HSA though anyway since I can take the money with me when I leave the bank (hopefully very soon). Might as well start saving for medical expenses because I’m sure I’ll get hurt again and require something in the next few years
