What a fucking joke that was.

I wanna laugh but... people believe that shit.

Disclaimer: I have nothing against plant based diet. I only have a problem with people on plant based diets that talk out of their ass.

    What parts did you hate?
Was interesting to watch and I won’t give up meat but did they not have sources and links to all their claims? Being a keto dude, I didn’t expect you to react that way as keto gets as much shit talked about it as vegan.

The parts where they lied and misrepresented science.
So damn near all of it.

Again I have no issues with vegetarian and plant based diets. As someone who got a “for fun” masters degree in environmental science because of my personal passion for sustainable farming I totally get the ethical reasons why people choose those eating lifestyles.
You can be a great athlete and get quality nutrition from a plant based diet.

What I don’t appreciate is people lying and misrepresenting facts to demonize an animal based diet. Meat and saturated fat does not cause heart disease or contribute to blood lipid issues.

Layne Norton wrote a good article breaking down the flaws in their arguments. As does Stronger by Science and Peter Attia,MD.
Basically most well known fitness people wrote an article trashing the documentary. It pissed a lot of people off.

Just because people link drop journal article doesn’t mean the article actually supports their point, the article is any good, or that the article has other literature to support it. No one scientific study stands alone in its ability to support any statement. Its important to see what the bulk of the literature shows and take that paper in with all the other information.
Also when reading a peer reviewed article always skip down to the funding sources for the papers.

You can be a great athlete, get all the proper nutrition you need, and live a long healthy life on a plant based diet.
But you also can on an animal based diet.

what is a forum thread without the shit talking????? asking for a friend...

I am still working out, but i did not let my body recover this weekend and i felt it yesterday during my stronglifts5x5 and still today. woof. but i didnt let it stop me, and I wont let it stop me tomorrow. I def need to keep working on my glute activation and ankle mobility. The hip shift and knee cave are real. I was able to progress to 30s deadhangs for 3 sets. still low, i know, but its progress. and that I am happy with. :muscleflexing:

I didn’t get a thicc booty until I worked on my mobility. I’d actually argue that heeled shoes put more emphasis into your quads as opposed to a flat foot squat.

My calves seem to be growing, I’m slightly surprised.
They have been looking a little more toned lately so maybe it’s just an illusion.

I know a idiot who worked out for a little over a year and got curious about running Gear

That idiot just watched part 3 of Seth Feroces gear talk and realized he definitely has no clue to what he’s doing(the idiot has no clue. Not SF)

@PackCon have you tried the “Clean Week” workouts on beach body? I did day one (core) yesterday and day 2 (cardio) today, I like the body weight workouts and I really feel them.

I think I’m going to alternate Clean Week, Cize, and the regular gym to make sure I run, do other cardio (Cize, bike, and whatever cardio Clean week offers) as well as use weights.

It’s like... do you inject or eat em? Is it 750mg weekly like one day a week or a couple times that day to total 750

That’s a whole lot of shots daily with some of the stuff he was talking about lol

It’s a science experiment on your own body.... fucking A. I was terrible at science experiments lmao

TBH I wasn't too impressed with that video from Seth feroce. He half reps or cheats just about every exercise, which isn't a crime in itself, but it's not something I want to copy. I want full ROM for best mobility, plus I'm not on supps to get as jacked as him half-repping stuff.

I'm sure his training works for him and is good enough for many. But I just wasn't impressed. Also haven't watched any other of his vids, so there's that. Seems like a nice guy all the same.
