Potatoes, eggs, chicken, bananas and whole milk for me. And whey/casein shakes (with said milk).

But I also eat 100cal of gummy bears before I workout and a pop tart after. Because otherwise I’d go crazy :goingcrazy:

it’s the same cutting, bulking or maintaining, just different amounts. IIFYM. I have spoken.

Low carb and whole foods based diet. Minimal processed foods. Not junk at all. Just eating too much.

I’m at 20oz of chicken per day in 2 separate 10oz meals. It doesn’t seem like a lot until I go to meal prep for the week and I have to cut up 8+lbs of chicken :bananadead:

This last prep I made 3 different batches though. I had some on the grill, some in the instapot, and some in the air fryer. Got to get creative so things don’t get stale

Bruh yes lol. Like I buy a family pack of chicken breast and it’s gone in 2-3 days. Like fawk this is more than I thought. Burning through a decent amount of rice as well. I can see why y’all buy in bulk for cheaper.
Also the eggs... 4-5 eggs for breakfast a day goes quick. Especially when the wife is off and we both eat breakfast.

Anddd peanut butter has been disappearing quick as well. And 2 bananas a day.

putting spinach in my eggs in the morning has been a nice touch also.

usually do a meat(Turkey/beer) and spinach with the eggs. Best breakfast ever.

I cut out dairy 99% of my diet during my cut weight days and now anytime I touch it, I get insanely bad gas. Like i developed a lactose intolerance.

so to drink that much is... impressive lol

In college I would drink damn near 3 gallons a week. I about made myself lactose intolerant then.

now it’s 20oz whole milk with breakfast and then 2.5 cups of fairlife whole chocolate milk before bed. Just my milk and 2 protein shakes a day are 1300 calories. 72c/45f/124p

Every time I buy chicken the clerk tries to crack a joke like

    sOmeBodY iS StoCkiNg tHe FrEeZeR:duh:

I buy my rice from the Chinese grocery stores in the big 20lb bags. I’m not currently eating rice though, so I’ve got a huge bag in the pantry waiting for my next diet change

Yea, I started getting stupid bad gas and my stomach hurt 24/7. Went back to 2% and cut back to a gallon a week and I was fine.

I’m talking all my roommates would leave the 1k sq foot downstairs of our apartment bad.

I need to figure out the calories and macros of the breakfasts my sister made, Sausage egg muffins (Omelets made in muffin tins) and sausage (a few bacon) egg, hash brown burritos.
Lunch tomorrow will be 3/8 cup of white rice, 2 cups of California mix veggies, and a 3 oz chicken breast, I may take a second breast Incase I’m hungry because it doesn’t seem like that much.

Eggs, chicken breasts and thighs, ground beef, ribeye, pork steaks, pork loin, lamb, salmon, tilapia, almonds, cheese, butter, olive oil, avocado oil, leafy greens, green beans, asparagus, brussel sprouts, are pretty much what my life is made of.

I've brought back berries, yogurt, and cottage cheese since I'm not doing strict keto right now.
Still no carb carbs like rice or potatoes.

Out of curiosity, since you aren’t strict keto anymore, have you experienced any significant changes in weight, mood, etc?

Yeah I'm not in ketosis anymore :(

I kind of stopped like everything. The IF, keto, and my sobriety lol. I'm finally back on IF because I'm cycling off my meds that require me to eat every 12 hours and soon I'm going back to giving up beer. Once I do those two things I hope I can still keep my carb intake around 50g net a day and with the IF still be in ketosis. I just like the mental clarity and focus that comes from being in ketosis.

Other than that, no I have not noticed much of a difference. Water weight is still staying off for the most part.

I was just going to go low carb and go back to having some rice and potatoes... I just really haven't cared to. I'm just more liberal about my veggie and blueberry intake :D
