Allow me to let you in on a little secret. You don’t have to be strong to PL. just like you don’t have to be fit to CF.

I always had a fantastic motor, but lacked the top end strength to be competitive at the comps we went to around middle TN. Burning 10000000000 calories per workout CFing isn’t conducive to strength gains, so I took a break from CF to try to get strong.

my break has lasted almost two years now. Haha.

He’s right. I placed 1st and 3rd in my 2 meets so far, and I wouldn’t consider myself or the performance “strong”. You don’t have to be strong...Just stronger than the next guy.

Just saw your IG post. That was in bowling green? I’d have come and watched if I knew. I can be in BG in about an hour and fifteen.

Yep. At the WKU ag center. It's a big yearly event that Dave Waters puts on. We had everyone there. The head of Strongman Corp was there, the World's Strongest Man medical team which included their chiropractors and massage therapists, it was awesome. Got a deep tissue psoas massage done halfway through and it changed my life lmao

She did my legs and psoas and I almost punched this lady 100 times lol it was terrible but I felt amazing afterwards. I damn near cried lmao

I asked her if everyone is a pussy about it like me and she said "don't worry when I did this on Brian Shaw and Eddie Hall they both whined like little bitches too".

A real deep tissue massage is amazing. It has ZERO therapeutic effects while it's happening, but afterwards...................... yessssssss

she dig her elbow down in there? I built an attachment for a jigsaw and use it on my psoas before squats, but it’s not near painful.

Dig her elbow in is an understatement.... Like I can't think of many things I've experienced that hurt that bad lol I'd take getting all my tattoos all over again over that.

Tattoos don’t hurt. What hurts is when they wipe that damn paper towel over the raw skin every few minutes :bananadead:

So, be honest with me. Have you ever gone out wheeling and gotten stuck and were just like "fuck it" and got out and tried to pick up the back end of your truck and move it? LOL

I would totally win at these comps, if the object was to see who could snap their spine first.
    Good job man
