We’ve seen your squat videos. Your calves aren’t big enough to have a problem putting on smalls.

    you got small calves though.

what sleeves did you get? I’m thinking of going to a small. You HAVE to put them on before you break the slightest sweat though. What I’ve found works best is the industrial trashbags. Janitors are work use 55gal harder plastic ones and those are the best.

Your calf is bigger than your knee. It’s like a knuckle and your finger. If I got a wedding ring big enough to get over my knuckle it would’ve been too loose once it got over, so you jam it on and good to go. If you get a sleeve big enough to easily get over your calf it’s going to be too loose on your knee and you’ll be constantly pulling it up and adjusting it anytime you wear it. You want tightness for warmth and stability. Otherwise just squat in sweatpants like you’ve been doing

I tried every bag we have in the house. I couldn’t even pull the bag out from behind the sleeve. It was just stuck and ripped and what was behind the sleeve... stayed

    I’ve had that happen

they are going to stretch out as you wear them so over time they will get looser, but I can see how it can be frustrating too

Pardon my ignorance but why not just have knee wraps ? Some would wear them super tight or could loosen a bit just to keep knee warm.

I think some people are more susceptible to abuse than others. Genetics, life circumstances, etc.

I empathize with it deeply. I get why opioids are addictive. I love the stuff. It wouldn’t take much more than a poor life event for me to slip down that path. (I’ll be flying high on morphine tomorrow)

It doesn’t take much than 1-2 times on some of those drugs to get hooked. And even if you do kick the habit its a struggle you fight the rest of your life.

Knee wraps and knee sleeves are not the same. If you’re competing they are separate divisions “raw” vs “wrapped”. Also wraps usually require someone else to wrap you so they are tight and effective

Yea lol. I’m gonna work some overtime tomorrow so I’m gonna use that as an excuse to buy mediums. If anything, smalls for competition and medium for training. Or I just mail the others back. I think smalls will work but just they’re stupid hard to get on and I am worried that mediums will be a cunt hair too loose. At that weird leg size where it’s like you’re in between lol.

I looked at the size on yours and they looked like they run small as shit. By their sizing, I’d need an XL for competition fit.

So knee sleeves are considered raw ? I've used wraps only and no problems ... so are sleeves basically like wraps put on just snug ? (not so tight it cuts off circulation)

Wait a minute, how small are his calves?
Does my cousin have bigger calves than him?

Duck sauce piquante was a big success tonight. I have a buddy from southwest MS that has me into all the Cajun cooking right now. :hungry:

Duck sounds really good, I haven’t had it in a while.

Southwest Ms you say? On the coast? I’m down on the coast about an hour from Mardi Gras central.

Not on the coast. Somewhere south of Jackson.

Duck is one of those things that you have to know how to cook. By that, I mean you have to know how to hide the taste of the duck among other strong flavors. Haha. I kill them so I eat them. Have figured out a few ways to make them really tasty.
