I really need to get off my ass and get my diet back on par. I was fine when I was in FTO...more focused for some reason. Now that I have my own place and the gym isn't 2 min away, the focus on diet has gone down, but I'm still in the gym 3-4 times a week.

I'm pissing myself off, losing weight and mass....I hate not being in the gym. Surviving the economy has outweighed mass gaining, moving and getting settled in with all the bills and start up fees for utilities has me strapped for cash for the food amount I was eating.

    :(

Oats, cream if wheat, rice cakes and potatoes are cheap..usually Safeway has a sale on meat...if you want to add in some cheap fats, buy some EVOO.

my bp has been high lately, i associated it with eating out alot (new house doesnt have cupboards yet), stress and well more stress...i think its my sodium though, you wont believe the sodium in sandwich meats, or peanut butter crackers, damn!

    NOOO! lol

I'd say stress is the #1 culprit. Practice slow breathing when your stressed and bp will drop big time. Especially the better you get at it!

Crap I hear ya on the sodium levels in sandwich meats, 350-500 mg for one slice on most meats!!!!

A few months ago I had 2 beef hot dogs with some wolf brand chilli on top, on whole wheat buns :p, and about 45 minutes later I could literally feel my heart beating in my chest after just sitting for half an out in front of the computer.

I couldn't figure out why my BP was so high. The next day I looked at the nutritional value of the hot dogs and the chili. 400 mg of sodium in one frank and about 800-900 mg in half the can of chili.

So that plus the bread I had well over 2000 mg in one serving!! Haven't eaten hot dogs since. :( But they're so delicious!!!

I think the reason I am lacking I lats is because I don't know how to contract them. Anyone else have this problem?
