The gym owners most likely want to stay open just as bad as you want them to. Give them a reason, clean up after yourself and do what you can. This horseshit is going to hurt small business owners.

It’s a socialist idea but I wonder if the government will somehow subsidize or help the people that all get hurt from this. Like if they tell me to stay home for 4 weeks then I’m fucked.

They can “suggest” businesses close and people stay home but they sure as fuck can’t make anybody do anything

    This was my thought...

Never asked someone to pop my zits lol.

    but alcohol kills germs

    WTF?

So far I’m not hating this mass panic. Got me a nice deal on a new set of wheels because car salesman thinking their wives and children will starve :goingcrazy:

I’ll be upset if the gym closes. I really would like to keep up with my PT. I could get an indoor stand for my husbands bike though so the world won’t end.

Does anyone have one of these? Wanna know how sturdy they are. I’m scared mostly of falling which is why I won’t bike outdoors.

I have one of those stands, it's been used and abused. Mines held up well. It was a fairly cheap one - maybe $150. I think they work great! Super good investment.

One gym I go to is doing what they can to stay open but just sent out an email saying "Other gyms are closing so if asked we will close"...

The other gym sent an email out saying "We are not closing unless the gov't physically forces us to"...

So hopefully between the two I will have somewhere to go. If not, I'll just deadlift my car I guess.

N.C. just banned gathering of 50+. My gym definitely has more than 50 people at peak times. Even right now it’s busy. Maybe not 50, but you can’t tell there is a pandemic...

Most restaurants are going to pick-up or delivery only and all the stores are closing early to allow for extra cleaning and restocking time.

Won’t be long until gyms close. There are some private ones around I can join in the short term and we went under contract for our new house on Saturday. So as of April 6th I can get all my shit out of storage and set it up in my garage and have my home gym back...if the world hasn’t ended by then

Hogan just announced restaurants, bars and gyms close at 5pm today. Never doubting my decision to drop the money on a home gym again.

LA county ordered them closed starting last night. I’m sure my county is soon to follow if they haven’t already. Breweries, restaurants, bars all closed. Some are doing take out only. Glad I have my gym in the garage! Money well spent for sure
