Are the beaches crowded there? Up here in VA everyone is maintaining the distance as far as I’ve seen. Went to the beach Friday and it was empty.

Same. The liquor store I used to manage down the street has been busier than ever. Owner said they had their 3 busiest days ever this past week and said he could close shop for a month and not be affected.

Oh man the pecan pie looks delish.
I walked away from an oatmeal cookie brown ale at the store.

It’s good. I’ve been on a big coffee/chocolate/oatmeal stout and porter kick lately.

I was not into coffee beers until this year. Now I’m really coming around to them.

This year has a big porter and stout year for me as well.

On the way to the last workout with weights for a while. What would y’all do if you knew it would be your last day with dumbbells and barbells for a couple weeks?

Just left the doc and the nurse checked my BP three times in the hour I was there. Each time she got 152/88, 152/89 then 146/86..... I had her keep checking cause I thought she was fucking up.

My BP is never high. I get home and check it three times myself on my wrist thing, which the Dr and nurse said "always read high" and it was 122/78, 118/82, and 120/78.... Wtf? Is this thing reading super low or does the nurse not know how to take BP?

I think it’s actually answered by reading in to why they said “abc store, which sells alcohol” since that seems repetitive. With the shortage of sanitizers people are using high proof alcohol, like everclear. So now an ABC store becomes a provider of cleaning and possible medical supplies if shit continues to hit the fan.

My wife has “white coat syndrome”. She gets high blood pressure readings every time we go for her pregnancy check ups so we monitor at home 2x per day with our wrist unit and it’s always normal. They made her test for diabetes twice (which she passed) because of her in office readings even though they are 100% anxiety related from just being there

Not everyone knows what an ABC store is though. Shit, I didn’t know until a few years ago. I just thought they were the stores that were on every corner in Hawaii lol.

the local power gym here loaned out most of their stuff to members during the break.

Invest in some stuff at home. It’s not that expensive if you compare it to monthly/yearly membership dues and worst case you sell it off in a month or two and make some money back. Way better than backtracking your gains during that time after all the work you’ve put in

The lower number is within an acceptable range so the higher top number could be white coat syndrome or just from physically getting to the docs office. Pain and your mood can impact the top number more as well.
If the bottom number is high thats where things get more serious.

My BP shoots back and fourth. Its 110/75 or 135-140/100.
I think mine may be due to dietary swings. You lose water when you cut carbs so blood volume and blood pressure goes down. Then if I eat carbs blood volume blows up and take my heart a minute to adjust.

I hope that's what it is but either way it scares me. Now I'm paranoid that my wrist monitor is inaccurate and I actually have high BP lol

I tried three different at home arm monitors but none fit my arm when inflated. So it's like I can't actually get a legit check unless I go to the Dr

I can tell when my BP is off. I typically feel drained/anxious/pounding in my chest. I just feel off.
But not everyone has symptoms with high BP.
The best way would be to learn to take it yourself.
