I'm not on 5-3-1, I have a coach programming my training for strongman. 5-3-1 is good, don't get me wrong, but it's more for beginners who just need a basic structure to go off of.

I did it years ago and enjoyed it. Still believe in a lot of Wendler's principles.

It definitely works. I started on it when I was inexperienced but once I got serious in competition I got a real coach and nutritionist.

i hear ya on that one, although we only get hit hard during meet season. In a way, I am kinda glad State and Regionals got cancelled this season. Not sure how we would have travelled to Chandler next week.

I forgot where my daughter was traveling. We got cancelled right in the middle after already going to Houston and Cali... wasted $. Now, their skills are deteriorating. And, my oldest is level 8/9 doing some actual dangerous stuff.... when they get back it will now take 3 months to get back to where she was. BS. This whole covid thing is simply a farce... once again, another gvtm failure.

I will since that is what all the evidence has shown now after 4 weeks of this nonsense. 10-20 million out of work soon.... Trillions more of "printed" $. Ludicrous. Akin to a Shakespearean tragic comedy.

Don’t know that I’d call it a total farce, but definitely way overblown and a bunch of needless bullshit.

95% media driven. I am saying the "reaction" is a farce and overblown by so many magnitudes it is logarithmic. MUCH smaller things could have and should have been done. Or, like H1N1, nothing could have been done. Case in point, Sweden. Other countries are opening up in the EU, we are playing politics here.

Working out is WHY is stopped drinking. Except on vacation. And, I only drank like 8-10 beers a week. But, it always took its toll on my workouts. I am 49 though. Feel so much better not drinking. And, vacations are more fun now haa
