No disagreement at all, but this started out as you asking if you'd missed anything. I was just suggesting to plan for the "lesser", hope for the "bester".

I was asking more so for advice on how to push myself to be my best and go to my true limit.

Being able to dig deep and get into my pain cave has always been my biggest struggle.

Guys. Today I did a thing. I didnt even think I would be able to do this thing, so I didnt video it.

Thing: 1 unassisted, from hanging pull up!!!!

I jumped up to grab the regular height bar, on my previous videos you see me using the lower bar because I have to pick my feet up to get them off the ground whereas on this bar I have to jump to even reach it so theres air between my feet and the ground, adjusted my grip a little, packed my shoulders, and pulled myself up with my palms facing away from me. My left shoulder is my weak spot but I got my chin above the bar. Fuck yeah! I'm proud of myself today because I didnt think I would be able to do a pull up, ever.

Then I did my workout: 5x5 back squats, 5x5 bench press, and 3x5 chin up from jumping with negative slow (though I was able to get two unassisted before I had to start jumping) alternated with 2x5 pull up from jumping with a slow negative (<- this is my 3rd time doing this and I think it's the reason I did what I did today). With zottmer curls 2x10, grip work, and calf raises holding 45lb DBs.

*also I've been working on pull ups from seated position at a park by my house that happens to have a perfect height bar for me to work with, I've done about 5 or 6 sets of 5-10 reps from sitting depending on the session and I think it's been helping my muscular coordination and memory to get me where I am today. I'm not stopping. Still working to 5 unbroken and it might be awhile before I get there but I'm not quitting!

Yeah he was. While you're at it, look at Yates in his prime, or Coleman.

They didn’t die tho soooo. Kinda can

Ronnie just got injured by lifting heavy ass shit. Dude should’ve went for powerlifting or strongman stuff. Who knows what he could’ve done if he didn’t have to really worry about leaning out.

Didn't die yet. If they walked around like that all the time they'd be dead quick.

Gym finally opened back up. Went in and squatted to see where my numbers were after 6 weeks and very little food. Only dropped 10 lbs (from 375 to 365) which I was surprised by. I had to grind it out, but it went up so whatever.

    sucks to be you!!

    just kidding

this is dumb because they’re only open Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8a-8p and closed 1-3 for cleaning. Luckily I really only need to go 2 days a week to squat. I can deadlift at home...but only up to 305 so I guess I need to go there to deadlift heavy.

Oh, and there were 2 guys there who I know for a fact their parents have had the Rona, and rumor is they had it too. I never heard confirmation on them. :notsure:
