Gyms here aren’t open yet but somehow they were able to open on Monday so people could have a place to go do “The Murph”

crossfit is essential?

 

Fuck CrossFit.

There is a whole 1000sqft area in this gym that no one uses. Full of dumbbells, plates, racks, blah blah blah. No one uses them but me... I told him to put up a sign that says 3-4 people max in open gym and he wouldn't do it. But they are ok with classes of 20 on each end of the gym doing CrossFit

 

I did chest today. Back is fucking floored. It is so god damn sore from yesterday LOL. Chest is gonna be dead tomorrow. Did some triceps with it, few sets. Tomorrow is leg day. Probably taking Thursday off, since I doubt, even on all my recovery supps, I will be ready on thursday for back day again...

the feels! Hamstrings are hurting after some deadlifting yesterday. Probably gonna go again Thursday. Still restricted to outdoor workouts as of now.

 

Played a pickup softball game on Memorial Day with some friends. Keep in mind the last time I played baseball was freshman year of high school, but it was fun and some of us started getting pretty competitive but it's been two days and OMG THE SORENESS. Ribs, shoulders, chest, legs are toast, even the arches of my feet. Granted I haven't exactly been good about sticking to anything really since this quarantine but wow. Forgot how good it hurts and all the muscles that sport uses the hell out of.

 

This is why I won't play old boys rugby. I think I would die...especially as my brain still thinks I'm 24.

All good lol. Whenever we finally get the go-ahead to go back I plan to hit it hard, even though the DOMS is gonna be killer. I'm so ready.

 

My gym is still not open yet. And honestly I probably won’t go until shit is 100% back to normal.
I’m not making a “reservation” and dealing with not being able to go when I need to. If I can only get in once every two weeks or... never... whats the point?

Plus they close the pools, saunas, and showers.
So.... why go?

I want a sign on the front door to say: Don’t want COVID? Fucking leave.
