Sure have. Why waste TP when you’re bout to shower?
ive taken a few ocean poops before. You get a little water sucked up after that kinda takes you for surprise. I won’t say it feels bad though.

So I switched things up recently. Started at a new gym and went from having a strength coach AND nutrition coach to having one pro doing all my coaching. I gotta say it's a big difference. He has me doing A LOT more work than I have ever done and focusing on athleticism and speed much more. I haven't felt completely dead after a training day like this in a long time.

So far I'm feeling great. Best part is he is close to me so I get to train with him monthly and get hands on training rather than only video review.

Why is the SSB so much easier than a standard squat? It’s the same weight. What makes it work better?

Weird. Wonder why it’s like that for some people’s. How’s strongman life going? Any big comps soon? Ready to meet Larry wheels since he’s said he’s going full into it finally?

He won't do strongman. He might do a few invitation events but all his money is in social media and powerlifting and promoting his girlfriend's Onlyfans.

Who is doing your stuff now? Terry or Anthony?
I’m not sure what I think of Kalle, or anything he does.

Terry. After training with him he pointed out a lot of things I need to add in training and nutrition wise so I decided to go with him.

Kalle is a good dude and good coach but he is more of a basic programming kind of guy. Good for starting out and learning how to peak, but I wanted to grow more and have someone close that can teach me. I still recommend Kalle to anyone new or needing basic strength coaching.

Marathon was just cancelled and made a virtual only event (WTF would I spend $100 registration for a virtual event?).

Honestly totally expected it. I still want to complete my training cycle, its just now I’ll be tempted to add more strength work in it. Lets see if it will be possible or if I have to hit up Nick Bare for some EPO or other “natural” supps to balance it all.

IDK if I can squeeze in leg day between 2 days of 8-12 mile speed work and a 10-16 mile long run each week. Lets see.

Can you opt out and get your money back?

I get ads on the socials daily for “virtual running events” they will send you a paper medal and t shirt for the cost of registration

No I had enough common sense not to register early so I’m not out anything.

But its still the same cost to race virtually. They say if you can send them your time they’ll enter it and post it. Which is important for people who want to qualify for Boston or NY. But those big name race directors haven’t said they’ll accept virtual qualifying times yet.

So why pay them for a race where I get no course, no support, no aid stations and no acknowledgements from big name races I can qualify?

I’d pay full price for a virtual qualifying time but not for anything else.

My goal this year is a 3:45 marathon.

If I reach that goal and just maintain the same fitness level, when I’m 60 years old I’ll qualify for Boston.

I have to run sub 3 hours to qualify at my age... thats fast. I’m gonna try but also gonna be realistic that I’ll probably qualify in my later years
